  1. A few who hasn't been Mentioned: Russell Mackins-Trigg County 6'8 F Jon VanHoose-Russell 6'3 G Keith Price-Casey County 6'8 C(small D-I) James Sykes-North Hardin 6'6 F
  2. This Mercer team is the real deal, this should be a heck of a game with alot of individual talent on both squads, Boyle is down but there still a very good team, just not by thier standards...Mercer wins 28-14.
  3. I see Boyle being a quicker team, and with the Perrin kid they should be able to score. The big thing for them is the interior defense and finding someone to replace Staed. Alot of these kids got alot of experience last year and know what it takes to win. Like you said waydowntown they do have some holes to fill but I feel they should be considerd the favorite but thats only my opinion as of now the 12th region is going to be as open as it has been in a while, alot of parody. My mind will change from time to time throughout the season as always but they are my favorite as of now with Mercer #2 and Lincoln #3. Man I can't wait for Basketball season to start back.
  4. This looks good to me give or take a couple teams but I agree for the most part, My top two teams however consist of #1 Boyle and #2 Mercer......What about the top 10 players, I'd be interested in reading that and maybe posting on here a little later also.
  5. I'd don't see it, he can play but I dont see a DI school taking a chance on him. His family does have some contacts but he's really not very athletic and he's not fast enough at this point. He's pretty akward also, but that normal for kids who are still growing. The strength of his game is his basketball IQ and his hard nosed play. But he would have to do something to standout to a DI scout and thats hard for me to invision. He'd be a better fit at a small school, unless his family can get him a walk-on oppertunity somewhere.
  6. I will play along too...Note: I will be the 1st to admit the 15th has probabily been as weak or weaker than it has ever been the last 2-3 years but here goes: Region 16 PG Barker 5'9" SG Vanhoose 6'4" SF Ferguson 6'2" PF Euton 6'6" C Haney 6'4" 6th Man McDavid 6'3" Region 15(I would have to start 3 guards considering there are really no centers in the region, and the ones who we call Centers aren't very good and don't stand over 6'3 just to be honest) G-Landon Slone 6'3 Paintsville G-Ethan Johnson 6'1 South Floyd G-Jamie McCarty 6'3 Johnson Central F-JD VanHoose 6'2 Paintsville F-Tyler Hamilton 6'2 Pike Central(would be forced to play the interior, Thats why I have him starting) 6th Man:Jamie Case 6'2 Belfry I just wanted to play along but I'd say the 16th would win with ease in this one.
  7. Thats easy Michael Bush-Louisville Male 03'. He should have been Mr. Basketball and Mr. Football that year. Another one who isn't the best but could be mentioned would be Jared Lorenzon at Highlands. John Ortega at Prestonsburg is another one as well. I not saying they were the best just throwing some names out there for this thread. I will try and remember some other one and will post them when they come to me.
  8. I'm not sure the last one that comes to mind for me is Jon Bentley from Hazard who played at EKU.
  9. Hazard's QB looked awfully tough against Perry Central.
  10. That sounds about right, He's a good ball player and I personally see Morehead State as a good fit for him. I'm not saying he should go there because I'm sure he'll get more looks but their style of play and that level of D-I basketball will fit his game well.
  11. He's gonna be a good one if he's the same kid I'm thinking of.
  12. Ethan Johnson from South Floyd is as good as anyone in the state also when it comes to shooting the basketball.
  13. What about the kid from Bryan Station, Shelvin Mack, he suppose to be a D-I Caliber player. Also the kid from Adair Co., Darren Ballou, is going to be a big time player, Probabily D-I. Has probabily as much potential as any underclassmen in the state. Still need to progress some but I believe he is only a Soph. and is about 6'8 if he is the same player I'm thinking about. Josh Chiles from Ballard is going to be a good one also, I don't think he has been mentioned yet.
  14. I think Knowles and Miller are tops, but a player who could be capable for having a Huge year is Jim Uebel, I would rate him #3 in the region, as far as the rest goes(#'s 4-10) they could go eighter way, the Belcher kid has to be up there somewhere also, he has some potential.
  15. This looks good too, i'd take eighter one.:thumb:
  16. Matt Thomas, Landon Slone, Tate Cox, and Darrius Miller are some of the better underclassmen.
