  1. I agree on the rumors being 1/2 truth, 1/2 lie only I would go with a bigger % being lies. I am new to B.G.P. and was just rying to get some talk going. By the way, Spider06, I think I know who you are talking about and he is not the person that I heard that it was for the G.C. job. the one you mentioned is a possibility though.

  2. I know that some are calling for Coach Hick's exit, be careful what you ask for. I too have heard some of that and a name that I have heard thrown around as the replacement is a former coach of two schools in the 63rd district amoung other places and has had trouble everywhere he has been.

  3. I does seem like Coach Hicks is swimming against the current at Greenup County.........I agree, he gets more flack from his own fan base than from outside the program..........a lot of "Good 'ole boy politics" going on there.....love him or hate him, he gives everything he has in every game, the boys that play for him give an awful lot of effort also.[/quote Politics has always been the problem at G.C., even within the system. It seems like (from the outside anyway) that if you are not in with a certain section of the county that you are out of luck.
  4. Chris Lacks was an excellent recievr and d-back at Raceland. I think in his senior season he had around 30 to 35 receptions for a little over 300yds.(numbers may be off, but they are close). As a d-back he was also very effective, I know that most opponets after the first couple of plays to his side did not run or pass to that side anymore. Chris runs very good pass routes, has good speed and very good hands.

  5. Chris is a great kid and well deserving of the chance to play football at the next level. Excellent all around athlete, Was a wide out and d-back on the football team and a regional class "A" champion pole vaulter, 3rd place 110 high hurdles and 300 hurdles. Campbellsville is getting a good athlete that will work hard at anything he does. Congrats to Chris
