My question was if the kid was in really bad health then maybe someone wouldn't have jeprodized it any further. I said that not trying to put the kid down at all. I hope whatever was bothering him was not dangerous and was just the virus like you said.

If the kid was playing with Mono, bad choice is an understatement. IF he had Mono, the question should be who in the world would jeprodize him playing in that condition and allow it !!

It seems like Fairview had been making their reservations in Lexington and forgot they had to play a ball game tonight. Shoud be a good final Saturday. Congrats to Russell.

I hope that you are right, I am personally pulling for Elliot - they have never been to the sweet 16, are a small school and it would be great to see them go to Rupp.

I may have overlooked it, but I haven't seen anything on the Greenup/Elliot game in the 16th Regional. What does everyone think?

Good point, at the start of the tournament I thought that there were 6 teams that could win it. Four of those 6 teams are in the Semi's.

Maybe so, but don't sell Elliot Co. short - They have beaten Fairview twice and I think they lost to Russel in a close game.

Of course, with this years region - I really don't think that any could be considered upsets - there is no absolute dominate team.

Considering my picks lately, I will probably be giving them the kiss of death but I am taking Russell in this one.

I would like to see some out of area teams that the fans usually don't get to see over the course of the season in the tournament.

I agree with Spider06 on the tourney this year, it is really up for grabs. I will stick with Ashland as my favorite to win, Greenup County could be a darkhorse. But then again, every team in it this year is a dark horse.

I too have watched Chris play since JFL and agree on his work ethic. If any team was full of attitudes like his, they would never lose! Chris is as good of a person as he is an athlete and will be a sucsess in life because of that.

My mistake on Fairview in the "A" regional, I apologize. I still think they will lose in the regional, though.

My pick would be Ashland to advance to Rupp, Fairview will probably be the favorite coming out of the lower bracket, I look for Eagles to choke like they did in the "A" regional, maybe in the semi final round.

The problem with some parents is that their child is not even close as good as they think that they are and they seem to know more than the coaches even though they do not see their kids in practice or the others kids on the team. I have coached youth sports in the past and have seen it first hand. I do agree that the good parents far out number the bad ones.
