Quick question- this seems to be a big rivalry.....why? Geography is not the answer, what is it about this match up?
Scott's area(Tayor Mill) used be SK area, back in the day! Us older guys remember that. No disrespect but geography has a lot to do with it. These guys see a lot of each other all year round.

Hester can flat out move off the dribble........I hope this is as good as the first one. The two teams were jawing even before they even tipped it off! :argue:

If you think you have all the answers to SK, then why were are you posting as if you were at the NCC-Holmes game Tuesday, instead of the Pioneers HOME game with Campbell?
Was there, is that O.K.? I have a friend who coaches. Have been to 10 or more SK games this year, just giving my opinion, like everyone else !

Howard is going to get 20. Hurd cannot stop him from that, but Scott's guards cannot stop SK's. -
PC by 12 or more

Howard had a big game to open the season and we know who won that game. :thumb:
That is correct :sssh:

I-71 south to the New Castle/Campbellsburg exit (US 421). Stay on US 421 south 'til you go through New Castle, then you'll see the school on the left. You can't miss it.
Thanks :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

My old school is new to the region.Do you have directions?Unless things have changed from the past 20 or so years, it's pretty much always at Henry Co. -
Pretty tough early on, but it's been soft lately because the 8th Region is so weak. They do have tough games to close out the season with Highlands and St. X so they should be in good form going into the Sweet 16.
I remember them beating Holmes by 12 in the 5th 3rd tourney, when the Dogs was playing pretty good ball. Anyone know where the 8th region is being played this year?
-
Call me crazy but I think a team out of the 11th could make noise this year! LexCath, Lafayette, Bryan Station, Henry Clay, Madison Central and of course Scott County. The team that survives this region will be a worthy opponent!
Yeah, the 11th is crazy tough, anyone of those teams can win it. Butt they could be wore out before the Sweet Sixteen even starts or could waltz on thru, it's hard to say.Teams that strong usually have the heart to keep rolling though. It should be a great show!

What kind of schedule has Shelby Co. played? You really don't hear much from them.
-
where was this game at? and who plays in the paint for the Bulldogs now?
Newcath, #44 and #41, don't know there names, with Hill and Henderson slashing every chance they got. Definately not as effective as Mr Rice.

Good to get some momentum, going into the Scott game
Any stats?

Kiernan is a great athelete, moves very well for his size. Holmes kinda lost there cool when NCC came back late in the game. What was the deal with Heil?

Great win for the Breds, I thought there would be a lot more people at this game. Rob coached a great game tonight!

They've got the physical talent to go far but I for one haven't seen the consistency every night. Hitting FT's would help, they can all hit from 19'9" so they should be able to hit from the stripe. It will be very interesting come tournament time since they've only played their district foes plus OC. It all comes down to the post IMO. Hurd has to play hard nosed, he should be pulling down more than 6 boards per game. Hurtt usually gives some quality minutes, and Elbert usually plays solid on the defensive end of the court. Only time will tell but time is running out and pretty soon when they lose a game there won't be a TOMORROW. I'm not overlooking the 32nd district but they should be a lock for that 3 game tournament that they call the 8th region tournament. After that it's up to the draw, they could possibly face SC in the 2nd round if they make it that far and that will be a tall task but we'll see.
It seems that they need to get that killer instinct. You hit the nail on the head when you talk about the post position. They are a very good team when when Josh plays well. I would not count them out as far as the region goes, hopefully they will straighten out some and start winning the close ones. Friday at Scott would be a nice place to start!

Great talent, will be like watching two good D-1 teams going at it. I bet the scalpers will be loving it!

Simon has had a chance to beat 5 or 6 quality oppenents, but counld'nt come through. They have very good talent, principal has some big-time choices to make. Like I said the talent is there.
