I'll have to disagree with you on the better off losing mindset Nerf. I can guarantee Mathew will get the point across. If anyone listened to the postgame comments he was anything but pleased last night. Nets, I agree that with Devon in there in the second he would have really helped the team with the pressure as well as his great leadership abilities. Those boys can't catch a break it seems.

Wow this score is mind boggling. The youth on this team is hurting their consistancy no doubt.

They gave 11-35 on the radio. Don't know for sure though. He took a ton of shots I do know that. Young did as good a job as you can hope for on him. It's just impossible to match his athleticism when he elevates. I can't remember the last time Boyd came to Morgan. I graduated in 93 and I can't recall a time but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened either. :lol:

The kid can definately get up. Has a good looking stroke as well. He'll have to watch the palming of the ball on the next level.

An exciting game to say the least. Owens is a great talent and hard to stop. Especially tough when you can get away with palming the ball as much as he does. Gutty effort by Boyd in the second half to get back in the game. What I wasn't impressed with was a couple Lion players cursing and acting childish. Play the game instead of cursing people in the stands.

The place will be a madhouse tonight. Owens may have thirty tonight but if he does it won't be because he gets open looks.

Just looked up their record on the KHSAA site and it doesn't look good. Their only wins were against three of the worst teams anywhere. One of the wins was Owsley whom they lost to later on. Sounds like there's nowhere to go but up.

What is Wolfe's record this year? I don't recall seeing many wins on here.

I'd have to put Boyd and Morgan above the rest until after Sat. night then there will only be one at the top.

I only know about the two games against us this year. They improved leaps and bounds from the first game of the year to the last time we played them. Showed up on the scoreboard as well.

Cantrell had Rowan ranked 4th this week. I guess he finally actually knew what he was doing. :lol:

I love the outcome in this one. wtg Rowan. Rowan has the potential to be a very dangerous team. They will battle you tooth and nail the full 32.

We've played in several back to back situations already this season. No home games between Dec.1 to Jan. 13. I've seen better scenarios.

That's some fine scheduling right there. Biggest regular season game of the year the day after a trip to Grayson. :confused:

:jump: :jump: Hey, you can call them whatever floats your boat. Sleeper, darkhorse, underachiever, bad team, great team, whatever. FWIW, I'll pretend that the postseason is starting tomorrow and say that Rowan is my darkhorse.

This is a very dangerous game Friday night for the cougars with Boyd the next day. Also I believe they really beat up the Raiders earlier in the season. They better come to play. Morgan by 8.

It is a great atmosphere but a little ventilation wouldn't hurt anything.

I don't know who their other loss was to but it wasn't Morgan. They haven't played yet.

South Floyd, Lee and Morgan. Fleming could pull the upset here if they can play the whole 32. The last game should be a dandy. They better prop the doors open for this one. :lol:

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there several more games left before the postseason? How can a sleeper team be picked in the middle of the season? Preseason polls mean exactly that. They are educated observations of expectations.

Preseason #2 team can not be considered any kind of sleeper. They are considered over-rated until if or when they begin to win games.

Pressing a little too much is being generous. He shot way too much is the fact of the matter. I also heard Daniel say on the radio that he missed some easy shots. I was at the game and he didn't have over a handful of open looks all night. Rowan seems to have other guys that could contribute if they were given the opportunity.

I though you all had him contracted? :lol: I can tell you if he would have been there he would have gotten an eyeful of elbows, hip checks, and illegal screens cause there were plenty to go around. Adkins was a split second away from not playing against East Carter.

This game was physical almost to the point of blows a couple of times. Refs did a very poor job of keeping this game under control. Emotion is always sky high with these two teams. Entertaining game though despite all the fouls.
