To back up your statement to St. ThomasMore. Who did Paintsville play in 1996. I think it was Ashland. Also in response to the year that Rose Hill went to the state tournament. I believe that they were not the distict champs that year. Who was the team that was district champs? I believe that it was ASHLAND. Do you happen to see the re-occurring them? I believe it is Ashland.

If you want to get technical, after the All "A" moved from Northern KY it went to Lexington. The first few years it was played at Rupp Arena and Memorial Col. , which was great. I had the oppertunity to play in the All "A" when it was at Memorial Col. & coach in a game at EKU. I would prefer it in Lexington. But why not take it back to it's roots.

Looks like Greenup played well in the tournament. They play hard good defense, but lack the big, strong post player. Kudos to Greenup for their 2nd place fnish. Congrats to B-ville on the championship.

I think that Ashland can defend Barker with a combination of players by rotating Cannoy, Wheeler, & Thomas on him. That way Thomas can also conserve energy for the offenses end. If Thomas has to chase Barker around the whole game it will affect the Ashland offense. Someone stated that Fairview is not a one or two man team. How true? They have some talent that they can throw out on the court. Like I said before it should be n intrseting game, but I think that Ashland will come away with this one.

By observing both teams. I feel that this should be a very good game. I think there are some pretty good talent on both sides of the ball. Ashland has Wilcox back, which gives the dependable shooting on the perimeter and the hustle and energy that Connoys gives the T-Cats. Needless to say, could this be another typical year for the Cats. I strong run after the New Year? Farview has the strength on the inside and have been playing very good basketball. The Eagles also have a smart point guard in Barker that knows where the offense has to go through in this game (the inside).

Glad to here Robbie Wilcox returns for the Tomcats. Good kid and quality player. Hope the rest of the season plays out as well as his first game back.
