  1. its a form of 43, but after that you lost me
  2. that is not the answer to the question. They had 7 turnovers and the long field all night, bardstown had the short field all night. That is why they lost. Coaches cannot hold onto the ball for them. Get it straight, i dont coach for the ads. Promise u that.
  3. Not fighting, just setting a guy straight who claims to know what he is talking about. Band Wagon? Please. If anyone is on the bandwagon it's you. Obviously, when someone talks trash about a coaching staff that has all kinds of accolades and accomplishments because they lose in the playoffs to a really good football team, it must be the coaches fault with their playcalling. It is one thing to call the plays and it is another to execute those plays. Cover 1, Cover 3, that's elementary. You still have not answered my question. Just go look it up or go ask someone. You can't tell me anything about playcalling or defenses. The extent of your football knowledge is knowing the phrase "Scout team get a jersey, you know who you are. Grab a dummy dummies." LOL
  4. double T's, What's that? Who runs it? Perry and Harp. They have won 4 state titles without those guys, so study up. You still havent answered the question. What is an over and what is an under front?
  5. You just dont know. Those coaches on that sideline have been apart of 7 state championships. I think they have an idea. The admirals were a tough team to stop all year. Their offense was what did it for them. I guarantee you dont even know what an odd or even front is. What is an under or over front? You dont know anything about football. If you did you would not be making these silly comments. If it is one thing that Sam Harp knows how to do, it is matching his personnel to his offense. Study up young buck.
  6. ads1982 just does not have a clue. Danville got beat by a better team. Danville had a good year. 12-2 was better then expected. Thier offensive line came along way from the beginning of the season. Its not all blue here. My ADS have 9 returning starters on Defense, and 9 returning on offense. We will be back! Promise!
  7. since 1987 the Danville Admirals have been to the state semi final game 15 times. What do you think about that?
  8. John Schlarman has done an excellent job as well.
  9. Marty Jaggers. When was the last time mercer co. did anything? He has done a great job. Sam Harp would be a great choice as well. He is often times taken for granted because so much is expected of them every year. But he is the reason so much is expected. They just win. You say take away Turner last year and what do you have? A 12-1 record with another chance to make it to the carpet!
  10. you dont get outplayed and win. Doesn't make sense. You either make the plays or you dont. Its that simple, because thier are no moral victories. It's black and white. You win or go home.
  11. you just said it. What set up your toss play? Running up the middle. Exactly! You cant do it everytime. By the way, the bone is not what has been working for the ads all year. Thier whole offense is centered around the jet. It sets up their other plays. Teams focus on stopping the jet, all that does is open up other things that they run to counter that. Im not saying to throw on the short yardage situations. Im just saying it is not that simple all the time. Danville can not just line up and blow people off the ball either. Rardless of what some may believe. That is why they run the offense that they do. It gets the defense running to create lanes, get to the corner, and so all their oline has to do is just sustain thier blocks for a moment. Harp seems to always find the right fit for his teams. Thats why we are always here at this point in the season.
  12. I think it works both ways. Bardstown is gonna have to play their A+ game to run with Danville. If they dont and Danville does it will be all she wrote. And Vice Versa. These are familiar grounds that the ads are walking on. This will be a game!
  13. Just because you have played fooball your whole life and watched it as well, doesn't mean you are ready to be the offensive coordinator. You did not study film of these guys. You have no idea what defense a team is going to jump into on short yardage situations unless you did. 3rd and short is not an easy play to call. I have seen many times the ball being thrown in these situations. They are tough yards to get. They could be pinching every one inside for the exact reasons you say to run it inside. It's only one yard, right? What won the game? Quick toss to the outside. Thank you!
  14. What do you know about playcalling ads1982?
  15. Not cursed. Just in the wrong section of the playoffs. In order to be the best ya gotta beat the best.haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Danville may play better on the road. Sometimes going on the road gets you that much more focused
  17. Danville just needs to come out and deliver the big hit early. Bardstown has not had to fight like they are gonna have to come friday night. Danville has been down to the wire and knows how to dig down deep. If Danville tackles really well then i see the Ads rollin. Bardstown is fast, but Danville has speed too. Bardstown is little up front. They may have had 9 shutouts or something like that, but not friday. I see Danville putting up thier points. Holy Cross was only giving up like 70 yards on the ground. The Ads had about 250. They just know how to win. Tradition doesn't graduate.
