W.Ky Small School Rankings - Wk 4 poll
CJT replied to just 4 fun's topic in KY Football (High School)
1. Mayfield 2. Fort Campbell 3. Owensboro Catholic 4. Trigg County 5. Glasgow 6. Russellville 7. Metcalfe County 8. Fulton City 9. McLean County 10. Tilghman By the way westsider I put Tilghman last becuse their offense is not the best. The only point in the game where their offense was scoring points was in that one quarter, which was also the one and only quarter that FC's defense struggled. Other than that quarter FC's defense shut PT down. Don't think that FC's offense had a bad game either because if you would have been at the game you would have seen an offense that did well the just didn't score when they should have. Being a football fan you should know that good teams might have a bad quarter but definately not a bad three quarters. :thumb: -
Fort Campbell has a really good kicker, Alan Johnson. This is his first year playing football. He is a senior that has played soccer all of the other three years of high school. He also is pretty solid at receiver. What makes this one great is being able to preforme under pressure. He kicked the game winning field goal aginst Paduca Tilghman in the last 24 seconds of the game. If I am not mistaken it was about a 35 yarder. And yes, soccer plays a great role in kickers.

Who's the hardest hitter on your team?
CJT replied to maroonmadness's topic in KY Football (High School)
I don't think anyone can hit harder that Lenord Gordan, FCHS Free Safety in 2005, Recruted by Notre Dame. -
I would say that is one thing that hasn't helped FC in the past is blowing teams out right before the playoffs. Once we got in the playoffs we face difficult teams and we don't play to our full potential. Our discipline is not great. Also we get tired easily because we are not used to some players playing all 4 quarters. It's a good thing that ya'll play a good tough game right before the playoffs to get ya'll ready. Our schedule this year is a lot tougher than most years so hopefuly we'll be tougher once we get to the playoffs.
-
Same here. It's ours if we put everything together. No doubt we have the tallent. I haven't seen NewCath play tho. How tough is their schedule?
-
How did Madisonville's QB do?
-
I think this game really did us a lot of good. We are going to take every game one at a time. Our offense was meshing really well. Our defense, with the exception of a few big plays given up, did tremendously. These big plays can be eliminated with a good week of practice.
-
Well actually the defensive coordinator we have now is an excelent coach he is putting us in the right positions we just have to execute.
-
Tell me a little about bardstown. What makes you favor them so much?
-
No kidding. A team winning by that much this far in the playoffs is something to be feared.
-
Wow thats quite a jump in class don't ya think.
-
I am pretty sure its just one since there is no way they can review the play.
-
Hey Scribe, where can I go to findout who is going to be in what district for next year?
-
What was Caldwell's stats as far as rushing and passing yards. By the way good win. Good luck to you in the rest of the playoffs.
-
How does everyone feel about this game? I know that Caldwell only beat Mulenburg South by one touchdown. Does anyone think that that will effect their confidence or performance in the playoffs. Also the last time these two teams played each other Webster was beating Caldwell 14-0 at one point in the game.
-
What is his number?
-
Yes, he hurt his ankle again but its just minor. He should be back this week.
-
who is Tilghman going to play in the first round?
-
who scored for tigers?
-
Final score FC-49 R-0
-
I think Christian County uses the same mascot as Ole Miss, but they call it a Colonel instead of a Rebel. I am not sure if its the symbol on their helmet. Of course Ole Miss is had a lot of contraversy on them calling it a rebel.

Does your school play the National Anthem??
CJT replied to doodle's topic in KY Football (High School)
So very true. These idiots have shown up outside of Ft. Campbell protesting as well. Every month we have a remembrance ceremony for our fallen heroes and they showed up to protest on that very day of the month. Fortunately, there were groups there protesting them as well. May God protect their sorry behinds, because someday they might need it at one of those "protests". -
Nicest/largest stadiums and facilities
CJT replied to PRIDENEVERDIES's topic in KY Football (High School)
I really like the stadium of champions in Hopkinsville. Back in the day I played pee wee football on it a good bit. I can't say its the best tho, because I haven't seen Trinity's facilities in person. A picture just doesn't do it for me, I have to see the actual thing to decide which one is better. From what I hear Trinity's stadium sounds a bit nice. Has anyone been to both of them, and if so what do you think. -
Week 4 : Lone Oak @ Caldwell County
CJT replied to go purple flash's topic in KY Football (High School)
By the way, good luck to both teams. I'm sure it'll be a good one. -

That is a shame. I would have really liked to play aginst him in a couple weeks. He was a good athlete. Is this his senior year?
