The spread does not work in high school football... high school do not have the talent level or the sufficient athletes to execute the spread constently all night down the field.... running the football is the only way to go in high school sports... the run will open it up for the pass

Russell won a state title... every other team that won a championship had at least ONE kid on the team.... russell had about 3 or 4 excellent football players that could have played on this team.... Drew Mell (all state), Michael Horn (all state), Tommy Brown, Derek Timblerlake (over 110 tackles in 2005) one of these kids deserved to be on that team..... without this group of kids russell does not win the 2A title..

Personally I think people should jsut quite crying and play football.... I dont think that the privates should be seperated.... The privates winning every year should be movtivation for the kids and the coaching staffs of the public schools to work harder... You cannot call yourself a state champion unless you have beaten the best and by seperating the privates into their own class no school has the right to call themselves the best cause they have not played and beaten the best!!!

What i wanna know is how a team that wins a state championship and has two all staters does got one kid on the team!!!! The people who pick this team need to start paying attention to the eastern part of the state, who the last time I checked took home the state title in all 4 classes Russell deserved to at least have one kid on the team......

Kasey Clark was the best defender in the 16th region and would still be if wouldnt have been run off

I got the devils winning in a close one at the "furnace" :fire:
