:thumb: So very, very true. This is what was the worst part of the entire Rose Hill deal. The fact that a group of kids grow up together and play together their entire lives, only to lose to an all-star team using not only the state of Kentucky, but other states as well. How is that fair? Just proves that something has to be done with the privates, as it is not an even playing field for the publics. :fight:

This rumor has been proven false as Menifee Co. and Coach Markwell could not come together on a package that would lure him away from the Lions.

Word out of Sandy Hook is that Assisant Coach Joe Markwell has thrown his name into the hat for this job. Also Elliott Head Coach Rick Mays is in Flordia exploring options at a Volusia Co. Junior College.

Wireman, Maynard can really light it up. He just returned from Bluechip camp where he shot great. Elliott has 4 scorers, so putting points on the board shouldn't be a problem. However, the region should still be Russells to lose.

Maynard played at Elliott Co. last year. Ferguson is having a great summer.

You also forgot to mention that going into this camp Tyler Maynard was 19 of his last 33(57%) from beyond the arc and last night he scored 30+ while making 7 3's. He is looking really good along with Greene and Gilliam. :ylsuper:

I recieved word that Russell Assisant Coach Jeff Davis has been offered a job from a school from North Kentucky. Any word on what school it is? And if he does leave what effect will it have of the Russell program?

If you noticed there were not too many teams from the western part of the state either. It is a little far for the way it is sit up, you have to travel that far just for one game.

How is Elliott looking? Who is playing well?
