Well, most of the time they don't live by the 3, like many assume. They do shoot some but all of these shots was against Lively's zone. If you can't shoot the 3 and don't penetrate (which Lee failed to do both) you cannont make them come out of the zone.

Yeah, I am in complete agreement here. There is no way that you give Devin Hester the rookie of the year. He has made returns yes, but he isn't on the field for even 30% of the game. Kick returning isn't consistent, and I will go out on a limb and say he doesn't return even 3 next year. There is a very simple plan to take him out of the game, don't kick to him and that's what teams will begin to do......

Charles normally doesn't start for Lee, he did against Jackson City but to my knowledge is the only game he did start.

In what many one call the best rivalry this side of Hazard/PCC in region, who wins this game in Beattyville Firday night? The Owls seem to be playing much better than last year and are looking to avenge the 4-0 sweep in matchups with Lee last year. Lee is coming off a tough loss to Powell Tuesday and will more than likely come out firing. No matter what the circumstances these two schools seperated by only around 14 miles of State Highway 11, will always put on a show. With that said, who wins Friday?

Last night in Stanton the derfense of Powell didn't have a lot to do with Lee missing shots, especially 3 point shots. They were wide open. But back on subject, good win for Estill over what sounds like a scrappy Owsley team, should be a good game on Friday when the Owls come to Beattyville on homecoming to renew one of the best rivalries in the mountains

Here is some numbers on this game, Lee was 2 for 24 from beyond the Arc. And 25 for 75 over all. Most of those 25 field goals were in the paint. Just an estimate would be that Lee only hit 7 jumpshots. This was maybe the worst game I have seen Lee play in a very long time. Coach Lively made a great decision in running a Zone defense. It seemed to confuse the Lee offense and Powell pretty much dominated. I didn't really think that Powell played great, they turned the ball over excessively. But overall a good win for Powell, and very important in the district standings.

Good Win For KCC, cant wait to see how they do in the All "A"....

Gosh, this a very good question. Colston was mine until he got hurt and now I really don't know. And it would be very hard to give it to McNeal simply because like you said, not many know him. I don't think Hester gets it because he really only effects the game when teams kick it to him. So, I will say Vince Young because he has turned the Titans around to a spoiler and a team that noone in the NFL really wants to play.
