  1. Oh, so he meant NKY has "owned" 1A sub-state games. I read it as though he was saying NKY owned 1A as a whole. That is I why I brought up the state championship results from the past few years. I respect the NKY teams, but I am a Mayfield fan, so I have a hard time hearing that NKY owns 1A.
  2. OK, but I'm just a little confused as to how NKY has owned 1A when you have non-NKY teams like Danville and Mayfield in 1A. Seems more ignorant than arrogant to me.
  3. Yes, which is great, but they were beat both times by Danville, a non-NKY team. Also an undefeated Mayfield (non-NKY) beat Beechwood in '02, so how can he say that NKY has owned 1A lately.
  4. A north team has won once in the past 5 years, and I don't think you mean team"s", I think you mean Beechwood only.
  5. As a UK fan, I hope he goes to UK, but how can he pass up Notre Dame, Georgia, Michigan or Virginia Tech. I guess he would if his family is pushing him to go to UK.
  6. Key phrase being "to that point". Anyway, getting back on track with this thread; Yeagle was awesome; "one of" the best ever.
  7. Complete domination by the cards. Metcalfe has not played anyone this year that prepared them for this caliber of competition. I know they played Mayfield tough in '03, but they were just wiped off the field by this Mayfield team. Kudos to the Metcalfe kids though, they seemed like a class act.
  8. I went to the game because there was some hype about Crittenden possibly winning, but Mayfield truly dominated the game. Crittenden had a decent team, but unfortunately for them it was the same old ending. Mayfield was simply too much for the Rockets. T.K. Guess looks to be a very good athlete, but early in the game he dropped some passes that could have hurt Mayfield. Overall, I was very impressed with Mayfield's defense; Crittenden's only score came on the fake punt play.
