  1. Golfer, it wasn't HHS who got the injunction. It was the mitchell family. If he would have been declared ineligable he wouldn't have played him. FYI what the Mitchell's did is exactly what I would have done with my son.
  2. Once again Guru on top of things. But as we know the KHSAA likes to do things there own way and bylaws mean little to them. Also, what's the chance of the Mitchell's taking this to a higher court??
  3. 02 I disagree. This should have been decided in the regular season. I wonder how many other injuctions the KHSAA has fought like this one. Would they have continued this pursuit if HHS lost in the playoffs?
  4. I agree 3, but as a coach did Dale have a choice. Once the injuction was in place what is is reasoning not to play one of your best players. Doesn't Dale have to honnor the court's ruling?
  5. The KHSAA is a joke. Congratulations on screwing up what was going to be an exciting week for all these kids from all eight teams. Now the games aren't going to be what's talked about and that's a shame. It's time for the schools to go out and form a new association that has a set of rules that is followed. I'm tired of them making the decision on what is right and wrong based on how they feel that day. This whole mess could have been avoided if the KHSAA would have had the guts to stop this years ago. They opened up a can of worms the first time this happened. As for the Mitchell case the KHSAA own hearing officer ruled in Mike's favor. Why does the KHSAA have hearing officers if they aren't going to follow their rulings. FYI on Mike' case. I don't know for sure but I believe at the time of the injuction HHS was listed as a defendant. If that's the case does that factor in with the decision to allow Mike to play?? IMO it is too late to have another game between two schools and then the winner play Boyle. It's probably too late to let Bell play also. How fair would it be for the kids at Bell and Boyle to have only 3 days to prepare for a game? I would venture to say it would have to be played on Saturday because of logistics. I don't see the KHSAA pushing back one final to the following week and incurring more exepenses. This really ticks me off.
