  1. Yes, and these are just TWO PICTURES. You don't really think these are the only instances do you?? Happened the WHOLE GAME. This is why they had 5 total fouls for the game and East had 17, 2 different whistles. What a shame for the kids that worked so hard! If these officials really care about the job that they're doing for the kids they should feel really bad!!
  2. OR where #22 is being grabbed on the arm while shooting, no foul on Ashland on that play either!!
  3. For starters, the picture of #11 for East driving by the Ashland player sticking her knees into her was called a hook on the East player!
  4. I'm sure they do, as do all regions, I'm just commenting on what I saw last night. Ashland Daily Independent has some good pictures in their paper of what I'm talking about.
  5. Hope you do and quickly. It's not that easy for the KIDS that played in their last game!!
  6. Has NOTHING to do with me posting, have lost PLENTY of games and this is the FIRST time I've said anything about the officials so take your smart reply back with you!!
  7. It's not about adjusting to style, it's about one end of the floor being called one way and the other end differently!!
  8. Are these officials really the best the 9th has to send to a regional tournament??!! ALL the games have been just TERRIBLE and what they did to East Carter last night capped it off!!! Ashland, one of the most physical half court man teams around, has ONE foul the whole first half and 5 TOTAL for the game!! Ashland is good but not PERFECT!! And no, East was NOT shooting a bunch of 3's, shot 12 or 13 for the game I believe, they were attacking the basket and shot THREE foul shots for the game with bodies all over them!! But East got called for HOOKING on a drive, POSTING too physical, 2 flops for charges!! The kids that played deserve better than this!!
  9. Yes, and you are considered STARTING the 9th grade as soon as you are promoted from the 8th!!
  10. You picked Rowan to win the GIRLS region? That's not going to happen!
  11. Just a little SOMETHING else for you that AD's know from the KHSAA handbook: Case BL-6-7 At what point are the facts to be determined when a ruling is to be made in a Bylaw 6 case? Determinations of whether a student shall be granted a waiver pursuant to this rule shall be based on the circumstances existing as of the date of enrollment at the new school.
  12. Not patting myself on the back about anything, just giving you some facts, call the KHSAA yourself and see if you get the answer I just gave you, then maybe it will be SOMETHING to you!!!
  13. Check what?? Just told you, talked to Darren Bilberry at the KHSAA, they do NOT speculate on rulings for eligibility, the student HAS to be enrolled in your school system, fill out the transfer papers, then they make a ruling!! Check that!!
  14. Used to be an AD, handled transfer papers all the time, KHSAA will not even TALK to you about eligibility until a student is enrolled in YOUR school system!!
  15. I know for a FACT that Bath Co has called KHSAA to complain!!!!
  16. 8th graders are subject to transfer rules if they play a varsity sport then transfer within the same school year!
  17. Transfer papers CANNOT be filed until a student is enrolled in that school, so no papers could be filed until she OFFICIALLY enrolled at GRC.
  18. VERY true on this for a fact, doesn't matter if they've moved or not!!!
  19. Yes there is a transfer rule for 6-8 graders, the same transfer restrictions apply to them as high school students if they try to play for more than 1 school in the SAME school year, which she is obviously doing!
  20. how did the Flowers girl get to play in this game, they already have the transfer paperwork turned into the KHSAA and a ruling back from them?
