I was thinking the same thing. Morgan is the only pitcher who consistently throws that hard. If Smith and Bowling are both in the mid 80's, they should breeze through a lot of people.

I think this is a game Buckhorn needs to win to keep their confidence up. They have been close too many times in getting the big win. It should be a great game. A lot of points put up in this one.

I'll take Knott in this game.

Lee will be looking to regain momentum after losing to Brossart. It is tought to win in Beattyville. Lee Co. by 2 in a great game.

This is a huge game for Buckhorn. They are still looking for the big win of the season. They have been close several times. This shoudl be a good one.

Andy Blank from Buckhorn is going to be a good player. Started last season as a freshman and put up some pretty good numbers.

I'll take Knott by 8 in a close game. However, I feel that Breathitt has a good chance to win this one.

PCC only beat Cordia by 13 and that was without Gamble playing. Cordia has a very good ball club. They have speed and size. Hurt and Gamble can shoot the lights out. If JBS loses to Cordia it will be because Cordia is good enough. Not that the JBS win over PCC was a fluke.

I'll go with Wolfe. They seem to be playing pretty good right now. Estill is still a mystery to me. I haven't been able to see them play at all.

I am going with Cordia in this one.

Gilbert didn't score all of those against Gay. Gilbert handled the ball most of the night and scored most of his points behind the 3 point line. There wasn't much Gay could have done to stop this. I don't think he outplayed Gay in this game. Gay put up some big numbers in this game as well.

Lee Co. done a great job taking Buckhorn out of its game. They make a good comeback before the half, but couldn't carry it over in the 2nd half. As of right now I would have to say that Lee Co. is the best team I have seen in the 14th this season. I wish them luck in the all a. Also, Buckhorn needs to keep their heads up. They are a good basketball team and can still make some noise come tournament time. That is the good thing about the all a, when you lose the season isn't over.

Leslie should win this one, but this region has been crazy all year.

After watching Gilbert play last night against Buckhorn, I believe he is the best in the region. Gilbert is a great player.

This will be a great game and the gym will be packed tonight. Both teams are very good and both play very physical. Both teams deserve to be in this game. I am going to take Da Horn by 5.

This was a great and physical game. Both teams played hard and this was a tough 10 point win for Buckhorn. Zach Gay played great and Jeremy Abner came off the bench and gave Buckhorn a spark. I will give Gilbert credit. He is an outstanding player. In a previous thread I had stated that Bailey was the best I have seen in the region, but I will have to take that back. Gilbert is tough. The only thing I did not like was the way Wolfe Co. committed two (non-called) intentional fouls. That is no way to act. Even if you are losing. I would like to wish Buckhorn good luck in the championship game against a very good Lee Co. team. It shoud be a great game.

I think this will be a great game. It is hard to beat anyone 3 times, especially when they are a different team. However, I'll take Lee by5. Yet, an Owsley Co. win would not surprise me either.

I would agree with that. He knows the game very well and has some great experience sitting in the dugout with Meehan and staff. I look for Powell to continue to win and maybe even win a region in short time.

The last few games Buckhorn has played has went down to the wire. Buckhorn lost to Perry by 4. They have won their last 2 games on buzzer beaters. I think this will help Buckhorn get the win in a good close game.

I hate to hear that for any player. He is a very good player. It will be hard to replace his shooting. I hope he heals quickly and gets back on the floor.
