  1. So far only the about 25 players have been selected, and that is from the coaches vote. Another 30 still have yet to be determined but will be announced soon.
  2. I don't understand how they can play it anywhere else but in Commonwealth Stadium...
  3. We have a Japanese Restaraunt in my towna nd they serve frog legs every day on their buffet.
  4. the State Championship games were going to be moved to Putnam Stadium, because their stadium has...
  5. Go ahead and pcik up your Lexington teams, guess what we have had Dunbar on the schedule for 3 years, this being the 4th, we are 3-0 against them, the best team in Lexington...Twice we were in 2A playing them. Larue County is a Bowl Game, and by the way what is wrong with them? SWP, well they are no Male but they are a rival which has been renewed, Pulaski County does border Rockcastle County and this in no different than Beechwood playing Cov Cath. They are a very good 4A team that is dropping to 3A. we haven't played that Males and the Trinity's in football for one reason, we don't belong on the same field, we do not have the numbers to compete nor the athletes, 6-9 players go both ways annually for RC. Go ahead and play Male, and leave our scheduling to us. RC's sheduling has been riden for the past 2 years exensively, yet they make it to the big dance both times, o wait I can hear it now: If they would've scheduled harder they may have won it all... Guess what if they would've sheduled harder they may not have had a team to get there with.
  6. Rockcastle County vs. Hopkinsville Debate Bottom Line is that both teams are very good squads, no one knows who could've beat the other, it is merely all speculation and therefore holds no significance. I have heard that if HopTown didn't have to play Boyle County they would've made it to State, well in turn if Rockcastle County didn't have to play Boyle County they made have won State, it can go both ways. Both teams have had to play tough schedules in the playoffs to advance to the late rounds, teams such as Highlands, Male, St. X, Covington Catholic, Boyle County, and Lawrence County for the past 4 years. None of these teams were cake walks across the state for opposing teams. All that can be said is that Hopkinsville has won the region 4 straight years to the Rockets 3 straight years, and the Rockets have made it to Louisville 2 straight years to Hopkinsville's 0, it all adds up to nothing in the end if your not wearing a ring, so I'm leaving it at that, and until Hopkinsville can make it out of their bracket to Louisville then I won't worry about them. *Also Rockcastle's defense changes with the offense, you (Bengal) mentioned that all we do is play a ton of players in the box, well that is only true when we need to, our defense differs from week to week depending upon our scouting reports and the other teams strengths. *I have no idea about Willis in baseball, but in basketball he is a true balla...
  7. Our DB's did just fine, they did all year long until they met 6'5 Jacob Tamme, we were small, but HopTown has no one to compare Tamme with, and HopTown doesn't have receivers that stand 6'5, that is what gave us the problems. You said you have to throw the ball in WKY or you'll pay, I think your right and it showed, you all got eliminated because you didn't throw the ball... Are you trying to make me feel stupid about a kid that goes to school in Hazard and you are saying he is enrolled in WKY? Tewayne Willis was the TB for the Perry County Central team this season and has unbelievable wheels, he returned several punts and kickoffs this season by virtually himself, he can go to one side and the other and still maneage to go N and S. He was the awesome, I don't know his background but if you were stating that he used to go to WKY then alright but that means nothing now, he has improved from being called turtle or whatever you called him, or are you even correct on mentioning the same kid as I. But I dont mean to bust your bubble or anything.
  8. I'll vouge for him, the speeds are legit, they were exceptionaly fast this season. They were almost that fast as juniors.
  9. to build the new Trinity Stadium with his own hands, using only...
  10. No they filled their schedule up before the season ended last year. They added Larue County and Southwestern Pulaski...If they were to ever meet up, it would most likely have to be in a Bowl Game, it is about 3 1/2 hours to the other end of the state.
  11. I would have to say either Pink Alaskan Salmon or Black Tip Shark.
  12. This was done some time a while back and seemed to spark a lot of interest. I come up with the opening sentence to a stoy line and the next poster just continues where I left off, let's keep it sensible and mature... Theguru and Oldbird meet up with Lebron James at the 16th regional tournament at the banquet that Defenze is putting and and Lebron James tells Olbird that theguru has...
  13. Bengal Your cracking me up, I'll respect your opinion on where you think that the Rock would finish in that district, but it makes me  It's shame I guess that Rockcastle County was so LUCKY not be competing with the west, amybe then Hopkinsville wouldn't have been shut out 4 straight years from a chance to get to the Big Dance. It is just great having to play Northern kentucky each year to get there, I mean they are the most historied area in the state, an area in which claims at least 60% of all state titles in a decade each decade, I would trade any day with you to have to play CKY teams, instead of NKY teams. You said you don;t know what has happened to allow Rockcastle County the chance at 2 state titles, well I'm afraid your in a bit of denial, because both times we eliminated a NKY opponent and in turn received great respect from them in which is also returned from me. I would have given anything to have played HopTown this season espcially, considering the fact they only threw the ball about 5-10 times in their last 5 games, I believe I would take our run defense against your run offense anyday. We've not been in the Top 5 in that category for 10 years and counting for nothing.
  14. You cannot base a decision on just one team, when one lists WKY, they include all the teams into their decision. Not just 1. For HopTowns success there are at least 3-4 teams that take their place as being just as bad in that part of the state, same can be said about all regions.
  15. I had never heard that, but the original KFC is actually inside Laurel County limits, it is just right in the middle of the tri-county area I guess. I'm not sure about the Lee's all I know is that the one in Corbin has a buffet bar and the one in London does not, therefore I like the one in Corbin;)
  16. By the way if I were going to make a list, it would look identical to passwords.
  17. Wouldn't mind it at all, I have never seen too much stuff out in the western part of the state that I would be afraid to defend. No one is faster than Tewayne Willis out there, not even the Mighty Joe Casey, he may be equally as fast but not faster. Not too mention there are some bruisers to go along with him...Lawson from Corbin... I'm not exactly saying that EKY would blowout WKY, I'm just saying that I would like to see that matchup.
  18. I'm not sure what those other schools would have had to offer, other than Breathitt County, because they have a slew of All Stars at the WR and QB position, but from Rockcastle County you would only get 2...Marty Reagen and Jason Leger. That is all the raw pure talent they had. I wouldn't like the chances against the entire state, but I'd go with limiting it to just one area, and I'd select WKY to play.
  19. I've tried them and liked them, but I always heard that it was bad to eat web footed creatures, so I no longer pursue the frog.
  20. I must have missed out, I never went to any kind of summer camp. I was always busy with sports and never got into the recreational camps...Such as 4-H or Boy Scouts.
  21. In Laurel County it would be around September 27th. That is during the World Famous Chicken Festival that draws close to 700,000 yearly and plus the leaves are in full fall swing.
  22. Seeing the MOONBOW @ Cumberland Falls is a delight. Residents in or around Kentucky should flock to this amusement. There are only 2 places on Earth this occurs: Cumberland Falls - Corbin,KY Victoria Falls - Africa I love Chain Rock as well, I hiked up there as a lad and everytime I go by it I have to see it for LUCK, I'm very superstitous. Everytime I rode a bus through Pineville and even today I enlighten the kids or adults with the story of Chain Rock it blows their minds, it is awesome watching all the heads turning out the window to see it in anticipation.
