  1. Walton had more turnovers than points last game. SK at home equals a cake walk win.
  2. Well guess what? Sullivan is not the coach. He was at Campbell Co. where the talent pool is a lot bigger. Let's not compare apples and oranges. To say Sullivan would have as much success at Walton as he did at Campbell is ignorant. 4A compared to 1A. Blame someone else besides the coach.....
  3. Your outside your mind if you think the coaching staff is "dogging it". Unbelievable....
  4. Unfortunately Wombles' lack of concentration and motivation keeps him from being a better player. He is horrendous on defense and usually clueless on offensive plays.
  5. Just from prior experience. Jones had to start because Hensley was sitting out. Perhaps he didn't feel Jones would get as much playing time after Hensley came into the game. Just making sure Jones still got minutes.
  6. Not really much you can do about it. The guards are not athletic enough to cover outside shooters, hence forth the zone. Imagine how many threes they would have if Walton played MTM. Owen hit 13 "3"s last night. Walton's guards cannot guard anyone/anything.
  7. Or were you talking about the Central Hardin VS Campbell game? If so, I apologize.
  8. I'm sure the officiating did not conclude a 24 point whooping.
  9. Unfortunately he does lack ball handling. But he does have a lot of other talent in other parts of his game. Solid player. What do you want him to do though? I mean, he has nothing to fall back on. Nobody to bring up. After last year, the well is dry for about 2-3 more years.
  10. I must have lost track of this debate. Yes, Davis would help Walton. No, he would not help any 9th region team in NKY.
  11. I think that is way off base. That team was completely different. We had been playing together since 1st grade. The expectations could not have been higher for us. Did we succeed fully? No. Not in my opinion. But it was the most successful team in recent history. I would be a fool to say Sullivan did not have anything to do with it. But, Sullivan is just involved in this year's team, last year's team, and the team I played on.
  12. Someone has to get the ball to Daugherty. There is NOBODY to get him the ball. Talent underneath basket goes to waste cause of no guards. It is sad to see.
  13. Because they cannot guard anyone MTM. The only way they can stay in game or keep it close is sitting in a zone. Walton's team has no guards. They will not win a game until someone who can dribble the basketball transfers to Walton or "brought up". I'm really starting to wonder how bad of an idea it would be to bring up the 7th grade Sullivan to play. Lynn can't handle it. He can't shoot, he can't dribble. End of story.
  14. Are you aware what region Walton is in? They are in the eighth. Walton's guards cannot guard a parked car. I will guarantee you he would not put up those kind of numbers on any decent/ninth region team. I'm done arguing about it.
  15. They may have been out of district but they were not there to play basketball.
  16. Yeah they must have really shut him down to win by almost 40 points........????
  17. Please......do you honestly think kids come to Walton to play basketball??? You are mistaken then.
  18. I think its invalid to base how much better Gallatin is than Walton by previous games. Teams have different playing styles. BUT like you said we shall see.
  19. My opinion on Coach Bennett may be biased since I played with him for several years. However, I also had the opportunity of seeing/watching Coach Jones for along time as well. Perhaps he does make the most of the talent pool, but keep in mind, Walton is in the same boat as far as talent pool. They both are making the best with the limited talent.
  20. Unfortunately I would have to agree. But, he made the right move going to Gallatin to get playing time. He would not have seen the floor the previous two years in Walton's line up.
