If walton plays like they did against SK they will win by 10-15 it just depends on which team shows up. Tungate and Daugherty should play big against gallatin. The guards will have to shut down Davis.

Gallatin is not a one man team. Davis might not even be the leading scorer.A sophomore and freshman were the two leading scorers last night, and a freshman the night before that.

I really belive if walton shows up they win if they play lazy again they lose, I don't know about there scoring every time I hear about Gallatin it is always Davis.

Davis has not produced 7 wins by himself. Besides, i would take Coach Jones over Coach Bennett any day.

Matter of fact the Wildcats are playing better when Davis is not on the floor. Davis is a really good player, but he has not played up to his talent level to this point. Just a point to ponder----Where would the "bearcats" be if Davis had not of left Walton 3-4 years ago.

I think this will go down to the wire. I'll take WV by 8. As to where the Bearcats would be if Davis was still there....doesn't matter because he's not.

No where. He is over rated and would not make the team on most Northern Kentucky teams.

I find that hard to believe as well.

Agree

I happen to like Coach Bennett. He has always treated me very well. I just happen to think Coach Jones always gets more out of less. I have seen way too many underachieving W-V teams ever since they moved to the 8th region( excluding the last 2 years and that might have something to do with Coach Sullivan. ) I saw a W-V team 3 yrs ago get beat on W-V home court by a less talented and smaller Gallatin team. Same thing happened the year before if i am not mistaken.

As far as Davis being a little overrated, you are probably right. That is part of my point. Gallatin is 8-9 deep with mostly interchangable parts , and should be for the next 5-6 years. Gallatin defeated a very big(and overrated) Carroll Co. team a week ago. A Carroll Co. team that defeated Boone Co. last night. The same Boone Co. team that defeated W-V by 27 points on W-V's home floor. Does that mean that GC is 34 pts better than W-V ? No, but i think GC is 10-15 pts better. I may be wrong. I think it will be fun game to watch. The Galatians strength is their guard play , W-V's strength are their big men . We will see how it turns out.

He is still alot better than W-V 'S guards. W-V's best guard in their system is a 7th grader.

Unfortunately I would have to agree. But, he made the right move going to Gallatin to get playing time. He would not have seen the floor the previous two years in Walton's line up.

I definately agree with you. I think Afterkirk and Frilling were much better.
