Great atmosphere with a wonderful and moving ceremony between two great games...and I was pleased that it was announced just why the game with BC was chosen as the night to commemorate David Garnes. I hope that Coach Pratt, his players and the BC fans understand just how much the Rose Hill community appreciates them. I couldn't take my eyes off of Rob Garnes after the varsity win. He stood and smiled on the endline while players and students celebrated at halfcourt. How full his heart must have been just then. May that memory provide continued comfort to him and his family in the months and years to come. Congratulations to the Royals. Throw out the second quarter and what you had was a great effort...on both ends of the floor...with timely contributions from each Rose Hill player...and the kind of effort that could take them to Morehead as the District Champion.

I asked a BC player afterwards and was told that Sargent tripped and was inadvertently kicked in the forehead.
