The best part about being a student-athlete at Conner is my teachers, Classmates,Teammates and coaches are all there at the same time. We all put work in, but at the same time, we can have fun. What is the toughest part of being a student-athlete? The toughest part is while the season is going on, you have to find a balance between school and playing football. What are your personal goals for the 2024 season? My personal goals for the 2024 season is to get 1 percent better every day, no matter where I improve. Another goal of mine is to improve my craft as much as I am able to. What goals are you setting for the team? The big goal I am setting is I want to play at Kroger Field at the end of the season. But for us to get there we have to improve as a team every week so we can be there when December comes. Defensive tackle or defensive end. Which of the two do you feel you are best at? Defensive tackle Defensive tackle or defensive end. Which one is the hardest to play? Defensive tackle If you are going up against a good group of interior linemen, it can make it very hard to make plays against. Who is the toughest teammate to face in practice? Dylan Stewart Who is the best player that you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played on? In game for sure, Aba Selm he played for Simon Kenton. Would you start the season or end the season against your rival? Explain At the end of the year, that is when everyone is at their best. What got you started playing football? Watching NFL and college football play on TV. What is the strongest part of your game? The strongest part of my game is getting off blocks and reading the play. Also being able to be coachable. What part of your game must you improve to be a better player? Getting off the ball quicker and staying low. If I can get off the ball quicker, then it will make me a way better player. What toppings go on your pizza? Definitely pepperoni and sausage, sometimes bacon as well. Have you ever gone to a Florence Y'alls baseball game? Yes, I have. It is a very good experience, and I would recommend it. Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun? Other than sports, I like to spend time with my family.
