Mason gets their 12 win of the season in a 58-52 victory at the Fieldhouse. This game was a slow paced slugfest but the difference in the game was Montgomery only shot 18-35 from the Free Throw line and Mason shot 9-14. A team don't win often when giving up 35 free throw attempts but Mason did tonight. On to play Bracken tomorrow night at the Fieldhouse.

Mason lost to Boyd at the Fieldhouse 64-62 in overtime. Mason ties the game with 4.9 seconds and goes for a steal and gets beat down the floor and gives up a wide open layup to Reese Robinson. Mason had the ball with 8 seconds and threw the ball away in regulation. Another good effort by the new look Royals. Montgomery Tuesday night at Fieldhouse.

Great win but has to step it up against Shelby Valley.

Mason only had 5 FG in the second half. Mason played zone and Paris held the ball some in the fourth qtr. I thought it was a good showing for the first game of the new Royals.

it is not talent as it is HEART!!!! Lewis and Owensboro Catholic don't have near the talent but yet both beat us soundly.

Don't be shocked. Our kids could care less if we lost by 50 and that we had not lost to Lewis since 1996. Every kid has their own agenda and winning is not one of them.

So going to school does not matter I guess. A player last year changed schools and played for both teams in the same week.

Mason had two transfers in the past, one to SP and one to Augusta. Both were ruled ineligible for a year.

How did the KHSAA rule that fast? I know there was no move involved and it was not academics I suspect.
