  1. Scott might have something to say about the district title you've apparently already won as well!! Must not be very interested in your football, soccer, cross country, golf and basketball teams; to be so concerned about baseball already, but I guess that's understandable!! I'd watch and enjoy that football team of yours; they've got a good chance to make the playoffs this year!!
  2. I think they'd just use the field at the middle school, but doubtful it will happen anytime soon--Too many $$'s involved!!
  3. Wow--Thanks for clearing that up, I thought I was getting forgetful. Probably a product of my public school education?? (That's a joke "in-line" before you got ballistic) I stand corrected on the " HS Largest" comment, as I was apparently using old ('03-'04) numbers, not being as obsessed with high schools enrollments as some. For anyone who cares, per '04-'05 numbers--Campbell (1490-768 boys) is now only the third largest HS in NKY now, as they've fallen behind Conner (1550--803 boys) and Boone (1504--762 boys) despite the incredible growth (+31 students) I keep hearing about?? I'm humbled by my lack of attention to detail!! I'll endeavour to be more dilligent in the future!!
  4. Obviously you must know my posts better than I, because I don't recall ever discussing bowling on BGP before?? Refresh my memory!!
  5. Actually I thought they were defending state champs in Bowling?? Notice he skipped right over basketball, and rambled on about small school kudos or something?? I know if I was representing the largest HS in NKY, I'd be beating my chest over my girl's volleyball team's victory over a school 1/4 mine's size????
  6. Time will tell on this matter. But before then, there a lot of losses for the purple to absorb first!! Soccer, Cross Country, Basketball, Golf--Thanks goodness that other school doesn't have football!!
  7. Kramer yes!! He's got all the tools a catcher needs--Great arm, bat, glove, instincts, good size!! Most of all he's got great fundamentals and a command of the game that all great catchers have. A pitcher's best friend as he calls a great game, and opponents quickly learn not to run on him, and he's not afraid to pick someone off any base. The sky's the limit!!
  8. The best catcher in the 10th next year probably attends a little Catholic school in Alexandria!!
  9. Jimmy Uebel will certainly be in the starting rotation along with Mutsch, Frimming, Simon, Seiter, Williams, etc. They should have some pitching depth also as the JV's were forced to develop some kids this past year, after losing a couple of their top freshman pitchers from the previous year. Who knows, they might even have a couple of new ones show up??
  10. Totally agree that this district will be the toughest in the 10th next year!! Whoever comes out of there will definately have to earn it!!
  11. Good solid team this year, who had very good JV and Frosh teams the last couple years, indicating a strong younger group. Enters a tough district with Brossart and Campbell!!
  12. They could have had the principals of Montgomery and Bourbon officiate the games and it wouldn't have stopped their march through the region. Once they got by Brossart in the districts, and no disrespect to the other teams, simply fact; it was game, set, match!!
