I tell you why I said it. I've never seen so much baloney spread about this game this week all over the internet and it's been mostly from our fans. Would I love you see a JC blow out? Darn right I do but I also have enough sense to know that this game will be a war just like last years was. No matter how much jargon is spread on here about the game our boy's and Ashland's boy's still have to play the game. Games are not won on message boards and the one's that are making these boastful comments have NOTHING to do with the team. I don't mean to offend my fellow Eagle fans but this is the biggest game of our season and quite possibly the biggest in our programs history and we need to let our players and staff do the talking on the field Friday night. If we win the next two weeks we will be playing at home through out the playoffs and the last thing we need is one of our fans posting bulletin board material on here for other teams to use. Firebird made a good point in the first thread that was closed down. Some of the players told me at school the other day that the players were told by Coach Matney and his staff after the Greenup game in the post game huddle to keep there mouth shut and do there talking on the field and I feel with the exception of one member posting post game comments this has been accomplished. Once again guys I don't want any hard feelings because we all want the same thing and that's a Golden Eagle victory Friday night. Go Eagles!

The last time I checked you’re not a mod so why don't you just report the violation and go on. This thread is about the Greenup County and Johnson Central game and all you’re trying to do is stir your usual crap which almost always results in the tread being closed down.

Should we expect anything different from him? He's so full of energy today because he and his god daddy Dickey didn't have to clean up the grand ole turd aka Putnam because they played on the road last night.

Why on earth do you do this? What he says to his players in a post game huddle shouldn't be posted on here for everyone to see. I have a feeling this may be the last post game speech you'll hear.

Do you see JC fans coming on Rockcastle threads discussing there schedule? No you don't. This makes twice that you've done this so let me ask you. Why does it matter to you? I don't ever recall you posting on Johnson Central threads so why the sudden turn around?

True but according to the enrollment figures for this new six class system Ashland actually had a larger enrollment that Johnson Central. It wasn't by much but they were still larger.

Would you please let us know when it is signed? I'd hate to see this game cancelled.

Can any Paintsville fan clue us in as to why Paintsville hasn't agreed to play the Apple Bowl the next two years ? They've had the contract for a week but still no signature. RNC can you shed some light on this subject?

Central has stepped up to the plate and signed there end of the bargain it's Paintsville that's dragging there feet.

Speaking of keeping the series alive I found out something very interesting today at Central's pep rally. I was told by some administrators at JC that Paintsville has still not signed the Apple Bowl contract for the next two years. Why is this? I've heard for three years now from Tiger fans that Coach Matney and Johnson Central would end the Apple Bowl and look who is dragging there feet. Johnson Central signed there part of it Tuesday. This game is a tradition of Johnson County and it needs to continue. Heck fire Johnson Central lost eight Apple Bowls in a row and you didn't see them throwing in the towel. This imo is the best rivalry in the state and I would hate to see this game canceled. The ball is in Paintsville's court. Come Coach Allen, Coach Runyon (A.D) and other officials in the Paintsville Independent school system get in gear and get this game on for the next two years. What is the hold up? Lord knows Johnson Central took there lumps in this series but they didn't quit. Come on guys show some man hood and keep this series alive.

What bothers be them most on this thread is that 99% of JC fans realize that they are no where near a program as Highlands, Cov Cath, and Bowling Green but you get one fan on here that is in the minority of the group who posts something stupid and all of you act like it's Johnson Central's fan base as a whole that believes this. I can guarantee you that the majority of Central's fan base cringe when people like the poster above, who made the ludicrous comment types anything on here. Am I happy how JC is playing? Yes I am. Do I think that they are a top five team in 3A? No I don't. That's why I hate preseason and regular season polls because there worthless. The final standings is the only thing that's worth a darn. So please people just because one member on here says that Johnson Central is in the same class as Highlands,Covington Catholic, and Bowling Green don't think that the entire community and fan base thinks this way. Xyience please use better judgment when you post because when you don't, you get nothing but grief and Johnson Central usually gets a black eye out of it. I hated that I had to post on this subject but something had to be said.

Let me get this straight your "mostly a basketball fan" but yet you choose grid iron as your user name. Something stinks here.

JC has thrown maybe six passes in the past three games and I can only remember three completions and two of them was for touch downs on wide open pass plays. Your figures are wrong and the intent of your posts are obvious. What a flat out dumb time to be starting this garbage. It's amazing how some people will put there own personal goals over the goals of a team. This is a non issue and I can promise you that.
