That's why he didn't win! I think that the will make a more concerted effort to give Kasey a legitimate shot. I think after the State Playoff performance of Russell and Clark,that he is on on the radar of alot more people than Gross ever was.

That is actually a good point, takes some sting out of 2A is weaker at the top than 1A argument. It was at Belfry though, lets go with the officiating defense!!!

I don't think that most would question you being there for the Tomcats good or bad- I think most could appreciate it. The thing, most on here, don't appreciate is your inconsistencies after a TomCat win or loss. Your on here 3 mins after a big win throwing out plaudits and gameballs to evey TomCAT FB or BB player that has a uniform on and telling about how well the officiating was, etc. After a loss, you are usually- very busy, at an Aunt's house and not at game, not able to get to computer, etc. Usually you do not make an appearance on here until someone goads you into it and then it is always "we didn't do .... this, that, poor officiating, the works. Rarely is credit is ever given to the opponent. I don't believe, as far as your concerned, that anyone has ever beaten the TomCats!! No one should ever be a "good loser" but you could be a gracious one.:thumb:

Winning at Putnam is always a tough task but I believe that the Rams will be in position to possibly win this game.

BTW, Congrats to Max and Charlie Pittard of PTHS for a great state tournament run. Runner-ups is nothing to drop your head about. Good luck to Max next year at the next level! They are both quality kids from a quality family.

I can only remember 1 other time in the last 10 yrs where St. X didn't state championship. Lex. team won with Nolan Polley who plays for UK now. I think there needs to be a private/public split in tennis too!!!!:thumb:

The Ashland Boys and the Russell Girls have clinched state tournament berths. Though the finals have yet to be played, the have each clinched their respective divisions. Singles Final Preston Freeman vs Stefan Golumbek (Exchange Student from Greenup Co.) Jessica Wise vs Brook Helms Dbls Final Malloys vs Alan Sparkman/Anuwat Yodwong All Russell Girls Final : Spradlin/Vermani vs Womack/A. Wise Both the Russell Girls and the Ashland Boys have excellent shots at a top 5 team finish.

I heard that McPeek will be the Principal at BCHS next year and that it is TJ Maynard's Head Caoch job if he wants it.

I wouldn't want to be the guy to replace this "Legend"!!!! Public opinion will be all over the place regardless of who gets it.
