No not at all... IMO a minister should support his opinion with Gods word and that should be where his opinions derive from, not his up bringing nor his environmental influences JMO...

It's still killing another person for crimes their committing or about to commit, I fail to see the difference, in one case you kill them in the moment of their crime, in the other you kill them after a jury of their peers convicts them of said crime, if your argument to that is a jury can make a mistake, well I'm sure several people have been killed by poor judgment from citizens/officers... And on a side note, I’m appalled to see that you are studying to be a minister and have the stance you do on some pretty serious subjects in today’s society. IMO a minister should study God’s word before they open their mouth and take a stance on anything, in other words a ministers stance should be Gods stance and if its not then your most likely working for the wrong guy…

I would like to know how the people that oppose the death penalty feel about police officers or citizens taking the life of someone that pose a danger to their life or someone else's life?

If a police officer is involved in a shootout with a dangerous felon should he shoot back or should he pray he gets struck by lightning? And if he does shoot back and kills him is he justified in doing so?

Two weeks ago (first week of the BCS) the gap between BC and LSU was .0506 this week the gap is .0387... By no means would I say it can't happen...

BC's BCS AVG is .9501, LSU's is .9114. If both teams win out LSU will no doubt pass BC... If you think different look no further than last year for proof... BCS week 8 standings had OSU #1, UM #2 and UF #6 we all know had that worked out.

What injury caused Woodson to throw 3 int’s? What injury caused UK’s defense to let MSU go 4-4 in the red zone? What injury caused UK’s OL give up three sacks while UK’s DL got 0 sacks? What injury caused MSU to fumble 5 times yet UK only recovered 1? (UK fumbled 4 times lost 3)… If you ask me MSU just out hustled and out played UK. To me it was very clear who wanted it more…

Injuries IMO are a lame excuse for the way the cats played today… I don’t care where you are on the depth chart it doesn’t make it acceptable to fumble, run bad routes, arm tackle and blow coverage…

Your right... But MSU didn't battle those teams like UK battled LSU and UF... Don't misunderstand that as making an excuse, there is no excuse for the way UK played today. Plain and simple...

So you think there would be less to play for if they changed the current system? Seems to me it would still be a challenge to make a playoff... You think top notch athletes and multi-million dollar coaches are going to give up on the pursuit of perfection? I would venture to say no... You think any game would be less important than it is now? again I say no, just look at Michigan, Auburn, USC, LSU, Florida... teams lose games they should/could win, it'll always be that way...

I’m amazed at that someone can think the current system is the best way to determine the championship game… Too hard to pick 6-12 teams for a playoff??? Got to be easier than picking 2 for the championship game, seems elementary… Playoff would take away from regular season??? This one really gets me… As if there wouldn’t be as much to play for… Hello, you would still have to fight like heck to be one of the 6-12 teams in the playoffs…
