Soon to be 0-5!
Coincidentally isn't that SK's record against Trinity? At least we scored in all of our losses.
-
It was a young team to start with that has been gutted by injuries. I was told we started 6 sophs on defense against Male. I haven't given up on them.
Which is why I am more concerned with the end result than the immediate product.
-
Just verified that Male passing offense of 65 yards. Was told the Dogs completed 18 of 23 passes. Was convinced there had to be a typo. Nope data correct. That is a lot of completions for 65 yards. If math is correct that is an average of 3.6 yards per completion. Controlled the clock on both the ground and air. Would like to hear some observations from game attendees. Shovel passes? Screens? Swing passes? Multiple passes that resulted in losses? How do you complete 18 passes for only 65 yards?
Not sure but I know their QB ran the ball a whole lot and was a big problem for the D.

Male would be leading the way, followed very closely by Scott County.
FD is getting a lot of love, and I'm not really sure why, tbh.
That's where I stand on it myself. It takes a lot for me to take a Fayette County team seriously, they almost never live up to it. Scott County has proven themselves over the years as has Male and I could see either of them winning it this year. I mean I selfishly would like T to win it, but there is work to do to get there. I am sure they can do it, but when dealing with a young squad it is a bit unpredictable.
-
Not taking anything away from the Male win at all because they are really good and not surprised they won but I just read that a sophomore student at T passed away yesterday. If true, I’m sure that played heavily into minds being on other things for the kids at T. Prayers to the T community!
That is sadly true, he did indeed pass away.
-
This year would be their best chance in some time. Male and SC should be the favorites for sure.
-
Having a bad night?
Not particularly, I am happy for SC for their win. I am just correcting inaccurate data. We lost, that's okay, I am not about to rage incoherently.
If you have ever followed anything I have ever posted on here you should know that I am a stickler for details.
2013 Scott County 6A champs, nothing more.
-
I know they hoisted a trophy back in 2014. But this certainly feels like a program defining win here. Wow. Congratulations Scott Co!
2013

Male came to play and definitely had the right gameplan.
T will be better by season's end, but enough to come back from this? I hope so. The 2014 campaign really told me a lot about this staff and the next matchup won't go nearly as one sided. I would expect a playoff match to be decided by a field goal or less. But for now Male has solidified their claim to the top spot in 6A.
-
Hoping to see a revival like 2003 or 2014 here, young team that will have much more experience by season's end. That said we definitely cannot claim to be the top team in KY at the moment.
Maybe by the end of the season but we have work to do.

7 to 0 ND
I felt like I was there for the first drive, the crowd is electric!
If you have never been to South Bend for a game you owe it to yourself at least once in your life.
-
Which safety?
Dingle, one of the leaders on D.
-
I seem to remember them going 0-4 one year and still winning state
2003
With losses to MBA. Cincy X, Manual, and Seneca.
-
Maybe with the Camels being the hottest thing going in 6A, maybe this is the year a Northern KY team takes the Rocks down!
Now now, let's not be crazy. :lol2:
-
T started out 0-4 in 2003, and went on to not lose another game that season.
The injuries are more worrisome at this point, but it is giving the younger players much more experience.
-
Hope the injuries are not serious.
The RBs will return at some point but the safety is out for the season to the best of my knowledge.
-
They have played three national-caliber opponents. They have lost by combined 11 points . I think that they will be just fine. If I were a Trinity fan, the injuries would concern me a lot more than the record.
That is indeed the case.
-
I really hope you're right. But I surely hope we dont see 0-4. I hate losing to Male
The way these have been lost have been quite similar to 03, I honestly think things will be fine.
-
OH! Great effort Trinity minus a lot of injured players.
While the injuries are irritating now, it does bode well for later in the season when the younger players get their experience or the upperclassmen get healthy.
-
Tough go of it tonight. Kind of glad it ended early. Moeller was on the 5 about to add another 6. Trinity is reeling right now. I'm losing confidence, and believe this may well resemble 2013.
Honestly I am expecting more like 03 than 13. Young team taking their licks but will come back strong as the season wears on.
-
T punter has been hurt....new punter to punt...fair-caught on T 45.
Sounds like he is out for game at least.
-
Didn't look good for the three they lost tonight. And one of the top WR's didn't even dress. Not sure and can't blame loss on injuries but man tough night.
I agree
-
I think that was the cause of this loss. The injuries to the top 2 running backs hurt tonight. Before the injuries, Trinity was able to run the ball very well.
It didn't help, nor did the injury to Dingle but they were still in a position to win. I wouldn't put this one solely on the injuries.
Carmel, IN ended Trinity's 50 game win streak?
