Really mad about the venue for this and the next 2 weeks.
-
Other than salt eating it I fail to see a practical reason for it.

Shocker! You picked Waubonsie last week.
I would daresay he isn't a fan. :no:

I was 18 and a freshman in college. I was on my way to my first class of they day when I heard a report on the radio of a plane hitting the first tower. I remember thinking, huh that's odd. My mind immediately went to the B-25 Mitchell that accidentally crashed into the Empire State building during WWII. I instantly assumed it was some small plane flown by some idiot who had no idea what he was doing or was trying to show off and misjudged what he was doing.
Went to class and then found out the details afterward. Bellarmine cancelled classes for the rest of the day around 11 or so that day. I went home and sat there watching the TV the for coverage until I had to go to work at 5 that night.

I am having obtuse difficulty wrapping my head around a private-school power like St. X actually complaining about a public school running it up on them and rubbing it in. Anyone else struggle with this or do I just need a nap?
X has always had a thing about this concept.

A Male win was not going to shock me. A Male win in THIS manner does, dramatically.

Male 51 St.X 14. 9:19 4Q.

Wow. I didn't see this coming.

We’re doing this again? :lol2: :lol2:
Yup ::shrug::

That was like 20 years ago!
Please don't remind me ::cry::

Was Highlands ever good enough to beat Trinity?
2000

That’s what I don’t understand. CovCath has had great teams and seasons as of late, and apparently that’s not good enough. People still want them to be better than Trinity.
With HHS being as down as they have been I guess someone has to carry the torch for NKY.

LCA played a team from Vincennes, IN that I though had an unique nickname
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices

One of the best programs in the country with an unique mascot is Lakeland (FL)
The Dreadnaughts

Totally down with that.

I think DeSales will keep it somewhat close in the first half with X going into halftime with probably a 14-7 lead, then take over in the second half taking it by 28-10.

That is unfortunate, I always loved older stadium seats like those.

Honestly, if you're a American Catholic school named "Trinity" in an area with even a hint of Irish heritage and you're something OTHER than "Shamrocks"... what are you even doing?
I have come across schools that are the "Trinity Tigers" and I darn near threw up when I saw it.
The other Shamrocks I came across are in Camp Hill, PA, it's a coed school which is weird to me but I suppose is more common.They do have our colors too, which is nice.

I have dreams that regularly involve rivers, but that is the closest to anything recurring for me.
-
While I love Shamrocks, there are some other Trinity high schools out there that are also Shamrocks. I think one up in PA.

As far as I am concerned if the breading is good and seasoned well, and fried properly no sauce is needed. If too bland though I will usually default to BBQ sauce to add some flavor.

FWIW Coke to Pepsi is less controversial to me than Coke to Coke Freestyle`

Excellent, now I can be indifferent to my alma mater at a higher level

I live near there. It has shut down my primary route to work until 10/4 which adds a good 20 minutes to my commute but that is not my biggest issue. My primary complaint is that I have infant twins and I am legitimately worried that this may wake them.
What annoys me more is that the original site, which had more space, would have worked this year since it has been dry.
So it boils down to me being a grumpy old man that these loud kids are too darn close to my lawn.
