I expect the Birds to compete this week but I believe this will be the end of the "Weinrich Era" in Fort Thomas.
I hate to do this but I will take Covington Catholic in this game.

Well, they are Covington Catholic, not Park Hills Catholic.
But it is the Park Hills Mafia, not the Covington Mafia.

Dale Mueller is the only person that comes to mind for me.

Why are you worried @Male Dueller?
I don't like losing and the negativity it brings to the Highlands football program.

As I've heard it, he interviewed specifically for the AD job, but then came back and wanted to be both AD and Head Football Coach. Again, for the record, that's how I heard it.
For the record that is basically what I heard too.

I thought Coach Borchers already secretly interviewed at Highlands in the past and turned the job down.
Did I get bad info there?

Not a chance though I think he could certainly energize the kids. I believe this job will be open shortly after seasons end a new coach will be in place before the first of the year.
What about as the offensive coordinator?

No no. You stay retired so CovCath can keep winning. Our turn to shine. 😀
That was funny @bluecolonels95, I like you.

The game was hard to watch.
At this point I wonder if Highlands will win another game this year.

Is there any chance Dale Mueller would come back?

Everyone knows I'm a Hergott fan but I believe if he would've stayed at Highlands he would have bigger offers.
20 hours ago, Voice of Reason said:Nope. Disagree completely. Players from Paintsville KY get D1 scholarships. Coaches will find talent and players can go to camps to get exposure. Hergott has played in a state championship and was the MVP. That exposure would not have happened at Highlands.
This happens all the time season after season with players. The people who know the players always think they are going to get a bigger scholarship. Look at AJ Mayer and all he accomplished at Covington Catholic and he ended up with a MAC scholarship.
I agree with @Voice of Reason @Bill W., Highlands and Beechwood are both fine schools but there is no reason to believe Highlands would offer anything additional to Cam at this point given the exposure all players have in 2020.

I like the Bluebirds by a couple of touchdowns over Cooper.

What a tremendous football coach and person.
Rest in peace Coach Herrmann.

Kick from the right hash is wide left.
1st and 10 Colonels on the 20 yard line. 9:19 to go in the 2Q.We needed points on that drive.
