I don’t believe Elijah Downing for Ballard plays both sides of the ball. He has a brother Isaiah who plays defense. -

How did the Cummings kid do? Big D1 offers for Males WR -
Ballard’s OL will need to improve; QB was sacked quite a bit in scrimmage vs HHS. They have a few other RB that are still a threat although Werner will be missed Farmer is just as explosive. Casey has yet to play but Thompson will be a threat for Bruins on defense. I still think it’ll be close one but no so sure Bruins can build solid unit in a week. They still need to put some pieces together to compete to their potential.

I guess they were trying to see if it would work and in this case it worked for 85 yd TD. -

Believe Ballard lost key running back for 4-6,weeks last night in scrimmage. But they have two others that are just as powerful carrying the rock. -

#18 Downing score last TD for Ballard -
It was 7v7 scrimmage I believe. I would say from what I saw Ballard scored one more than X. These games mean nothing but gives skill players a chance to showcase their talent. First time I saw Carr and Casey play and both look good. X looked good as a team as well.

I was at that scrimmage and it looked to me like Ballard may have claimed the w

Lost a really strong arm QB in May. Don’t know much about Carr but I’ve heard really good things about that kid.

Different caliber of kids who are hungry. Let’s see what they do!!

The team should be much better than last year but again it’s how they come together. More interested in the coaching staff and how 2nd year Morton will run his program. He has the talent but how he’ll use what he has will determine the outcome of their season.

Ballard will have some weapons on offense this year. They have that RB Werner kid who showed out in the camps over the summer. I’ve seen that Downing kid at a few camps and if him and Carr can build same chemistry as him and May that’s their air game. They have quite a bit playmakers on offense. Much better team than last few years. Their defense will very explosive with 4star Casey and Thompson. Not taking anything away from Boyle Co just don’t believe it’ll be a running clock and it’ll be a close very good game. How many 6a teams does Boyle play each year? Again I’m taking Bruins on this one.

Ballard has a very talented team this year but will struggle if they don’t come together as one unit. The offense with the new QB will need to click to put points on the board. The defense is very explosive from what I’ve observed and as long as the offense stays on field longer than 3 plays the defense will dominate. I believe this will be the best team Ballard has had in awhile.
