Lately he has beat them so I wouldnt say that but I think "birds of a feather flock together." Kes did not fit in with the HC community, he is built to be around the NDA-Cov Cath community. I will say that he has put a unwanted target on NDA and even more now, everyone will want to knock them off.

Picking a school for your child is a tough decision especially if they play sports. You want your child to have a overall good high school experience. If I know that the coach at high school A is a "salesmen" and is only out for themselves, I don't know if I would want my child to attend that school and play for that coach. I am not saying that I would not want my child to face adversity but I want my child to be given a chance and not treated unfairly because of previous biases.

Don't even know if Todd would want the job.

I think they should stay internal and give it to Marty Rankin if Kes doesn't take him to Notre Dame with him. He has done a great job since he has been apart of the program. Filled in for Kes during his suspension.

That is a great question. NDA does not allow middle schoolers to play basketball so the girls that are in middle school can either continue to play at HC or go back and play for their middle school programs. I dont see anyone that is in high school at HC leaving with him.

The landscape of the 9th region will be interesting with this hire. As much as ppl think that this was a good hire for NDA, there are alot more that goes into coaching and everything that glitters aint gold. I know that there will be some girls that were suppose to go to NDA that will be looking for another school because of this hire.

I never said everyone wanted him out. I said not everyone is a fan of his. I don’t have a dog in the fight so if he leaves, good for him.

From things Ive heard, everyone at HC are not the biggest fans of him.

Kes isnt the most liked person and sure isnt the most liked coach.

I think that no matter who the coach is, NDA will make it out of districts this upcoming year. HC has the bigs and some tough guards returning, Holmes loses their 2 best players with no much talent returning, Beechwood doesnt have much at all. The new coach will be handed a good group and didnt the JV team win the regional?

Honestly I dont think that HC would hurt losing Kes even to a district opponent. Some might say that he has wore out his welcome down in Latonia.

Both schools have positive and negatives. I think NDA has more of a future than HC and would be a reason for him to look at leaving.

Volleyball coach was announced last week
