Sacred Heart was such a talented team. So sad for the girls. Hard to believe really.

Sacred Heart defense was tremendous and Berger made a statement. She was really really good. It just wasn't Mercer's night. These were two really good teams and I hope they meet again. It won't be a 35 point game next time for sure.

Sacred Heart and Mercer are the best two teams but SHA has their hands full getting out of their region. Lincoln Co. is a nice team but Mercer can get a good draw in state and coast to the state semi's. Not so for Sacred Heart. LIT will give us an idea on how good the 7th region is (or isn't).

If Butler's guard play continues to improve, they will be a tough out.

Berger had 24 pts and 13 boards against BGP #12 Eastern. Game was over at half after Berger's dominate performance. Felt like she could have had 50 if she wanted to and the stripes seemed neutral which was refreshing.

Too much emphasis on the stats. Calhoun obviously helped her team win more than any other player in the game. Will be interesting to see how their game with Manual goes tonight.
