  1. TC is lucky to have a strong candidate in-house. The DC, Jon Smith is a long time assistant that has been a DC at multiple stops and would be a great fit (imo). When he was in the SCKY neck of the woods, we led Warren East in their 2005-2007 years when they went to the Final Four in 4A. I hope they give Coach Smith a shot!
  2. Doubtful. 4A is probably the most wide-open of the classes in terms of teams that can "win it" so it takes a little bit of a special run to win it if your name isn't Highlands or Boyle Co. Franklin has to be one of the top four, regardless that you would consider a favorite. JC gets their running back back and that will help a lot. FS's district is no pushover either. , 4A is certainly a fun class to be in if you want a shot. Kudos to FS for doing what we all though FS would do when 6 classes happened. Who knows, they could go on a run.
  3. Thought it would be closer...this must be one of those Cov Cath teams like we last saw in 2006 and before that in the mid 90's. Impressive!
  4. VoR...South has Jacob Lacey...he's a 4 star Jr. that's committed to Notre Dame. Cov. Cath has no one on that level. You also just compared BG to Ryle (0 state titles), Beechwood (1A) and South Oldham... not much credibility in that statement.
  5. South's kids have more experience in a game like this than Cov. Cath's do. South has the highest caliber player on the field. South just beat BG who when compared to Cov. Cath historically over the last 10 years, there is no comparison. South is at home. South's coach has more experience in games like this than Cov. Cath's. South's kids know what it takes to win a title and have been a part of one. Cov Cath's have not. Cov. Cath does not have better athletes than BG. MAYBE equal, but not better. South shut down BG. All that said, I still think Cov. Cath wins this game but I also think that it's silly and lacks objectivity to think this will be a run-away win for Cov. Cath. South, BG, and Christian Co. would all likely be 10-0 against Cov. Cath's schedule, where the signature wins are against three 6-4, 5-5, and 5-5 out of state teams. South will be the best team up front that Cov. Cath has seen all year.
