  1. Hayden just threw a pass to Cusick for 25 yards and Tigers are in business at CC 25. Second play after that Touchdown Tigers!!! 23 yard TD pass from Hayden to Fryman. XP is good by Laird 14-6 Tigers
  2. CC went 3 and out and Beechwood has the ball back.
  3. Beechwood TD was a 1 yard run by Chase Flaherty.
  4. Touchdown SK and then use the swinging gate and convert the 2 point conversion. 8-0 SK. Currently in a 30 min lightning delay.
  5. After a sack on 2nd down Mercer forces SK to turn it over on downs. Mercer ball at their own 15.
  6. Simon Kenton kicked off to start the game and Mercer's returner mishandled the kick and SK recovered it. SK just had 4th and 1 and converted.
  7. I agree this defense has to be given a chance and that's not going to prove out till later in the year when they are facing teams in their own class. The thing that concerns me about the last 2 years with the defense is the missed tackles and the number of silly penalties they have been getting. Beechwood while always a small school has prided itself on the ability to compete with bigger schools for 2 reasons: 1) their attention to details in everything they do offensively and defensively, and 2) their commitment to playing football as fundamentally sound as possible. Both of those things are lacking when you consistently miss tackles which they have done the last few years and get personal fouls penalties to extend drives where you have gotten stops on 3rd downs. The new coaching staff is still finding their way and I knew when Rash left that things were going to be different, but I am hoping the attention to detail part gets figured out sooner rather later. This team can be really special with the firepower they have on offense.
  8. Beechwood will need to pick up their defense as several times throughout their game against Pulaski they were pushed around and were missing tackles. I still have a hard time with how they will look against schools their own size. LCA looked to have a big front 7 from what I saw on Saturday, Mayfield line looked big and quick in their game, and Owensboro Catholic I didn't see so no clue there. Their offense can play with anyone but can they get stops and maybe force teams to turn the ball over. The will write the story of the 2024 Beechwood Tigers. As far as rankings still to early to tell but with LCA and Mayfield losing I understand moving Beechwood and OC above them.
  9. Highlands Trinity Crittenden County Franklin County North Oldham
  10. Beechwood punting. PC ball at their own 22
  11. Beechwood takes over at PC 49 yard line. Not a great punt.
  12. 3 and out for PC. End of 4th quarter 21-21.
  13. Touchdown PC! 2 point conversion run good. 21-21
  14. Touchdown Tigers!!! Flaherty receiving TD on a throwback screen. XP is good 21-13 Tigers.
  15. Beechwood holds PC on 4th down. Tigers take over.
  16. Beechwood punting after a block in the back brought back a Touchdown.
  17. Interception in the end zone by Chase Flaherty. Huge stop
  18. Touchdown PC on 3rd and 12 from their own 12 yard line on a screen pass I believe. 14-13 Tigers lead after XP is blocked.
  19. Touchdown PC on 3rd and 12 from their own 12 yard line on a screen pass I believe. 14-13 Tigers lead after XP is blocked.
