Dixie beat two teams with losing records to get to the finals! You actually consider that a great run? If so congratulations on such a fine season! Because tonight the season is over for Dixie! The rankings all season as I have tried to say were fluid week to week because CovCath and Cooper were the only two teams with a chance to win the region! You could put teams 3 though 12 in a hat and pick them for the rest of the rankings because every team in that field had obvious problems! So congratulations for the 40 point beating tonight at the hands of CovCath!

Make sure you come back tomorrow after Dixie loses by 40 or 50! It's not a matter of who wins, just how bad the beating is gonna be! I saw CovCath 73, Dixie 32.

Numbers don’t lie CJ Frederick won 2 of three games. He has a higher average,better percentages and better defender.

Newport had no strategy at all! Thats why I kept saying in the 9TH Region rankings all season Newport was overrated!

I called it! I think Newport has good players but no strategy and no set plays to get Burries open! That is not the players fault! Holy Cross had a game plan and it worked! Congrats to them!

I am not bias against Newport just don't know what team will show up. I guess tonight proved to everyone that you don't know which team will show up. When you play against a team that is pretty well coached anything is possible.

Joe would be better at Holmes than he even is at Cov Cath. You clearly do not know his background. As I do!

Based on what?

I believe Joe Frederick would be the best for fit for this position. 1)He would connected well with the kid because he grew up in that environment at Green Hills and Notre Dame. 2)Watched him run his aau program years ago and was outstanding with inner city kids. 3)He brings professionalism and class to Holmes and help kids graduate and develop life skills( very successful business man now) 4) His five years as Scott Ruthsatz top assistant he helped lead Cov Cath to 149-25 recorded. 5) Developed many kids to get college scholarships 6) Help lead Cov Cath to a State Championship and a final 4 appearance in 5 years. 7) Coach Ruthsatz was out a game due to a Family obligation, he lead Cov Cath to a win against Scott. You could see how well he interacted with the players. Seems to be a no brainer to me!
