Coaching was the difference, Coach Fieldhouse knows if you make a player work to get his and take away a players strength then you will win. Dunbar is good don't get me wrong, but they really been riding on Hollimgworth outstanding play. Williams and Lewis are the other pieces of that team. Outside of that they will struggle if those 3 arent clicking. this ranking stuff has always been overrated, and it really doesn't mean anything. What matters is who's warming up at Rupp Arena in March.

Fieldhouse is one good coach. Team is disciplined.

I have to agree with that and wasn't thinking about that factor. These days games are played everywhere.

I'm glad they did too. The young boys can't compete at this level yet.

Jones has another year and from what I seen of him last week is he's learning and coming along well at Montgomery.

Bourbon isn't as bad as people think. GRC will find that out.

I posted what you want to see. But truth is Paris, Montgomery, bourbon and GRC. I don't think we can beat Bourbon that's just my opinion and I guess we will see.

Any seed will have a battle. 1 seed will for sure have a battle because 4 will come after them strong. I wish the 40th had 6 teams like they did in the past. I think this 4 team play is a fluke because you win 1 and into the regionals you go. GRC could get some home court cooking this year regardless where they place.

Explain how my axe is getting sharp? Ok here you go and what you guys want to see. District ranking for the 40th are....GRC 1, Bourbon 2, Montgomery 3 and Paris 4 hahahaha either way GRC will play Paris and not advance like last year.

Paris 1, Montgomery 2, Bourbon 3 and GRC 4.

Montgomery Host the Regional tournament FYI that's what they was talking about.

Paris will pull it together and Garrard needs to accept team play. Montgomery County looks solid but not deep and Jones seems to fitwell within the offense and a good piece they needed. Campbell County is good but if you can take away scoring from Wilson they struggle. Mason is overlooked and can play but must be persistent, Williams and Garrison are top notch players. Any of these 4 teams could win the region.

Davis plays for Paris, Jones for Montgomery. I have no ties to either one of theses players. I do however like Paris in this match-up and like to see the small town team make a run like they did in football. Davis can get 20 or 2 and it wouldn't matter to me and same for Jones So my axe isn't sharp as we approach the Paris game. The funny thing is you see me at every GRC game and I use this site to say it like I see it because at the games it's a band wagon factor. We win you guys flying high as if we won State, we lose you guys say good showing and game....we coming along and our team is growing. So I keep my mouth shut and decided to get on this site for 30 days and vent this way.

I think the coach is waking up this year and doing things he should have done years ago after his last run making it to the Sweet 16. So he has turned it around but with less talent this year. So he's headed in he right direction with coaching now he just needs to pull some talent out of the sophomores. Our seniors can only do so much and if you rely only on them we will end up like we did last year....back home and no Region. its a 5-7 man sport and he's finally doing that this year as a coach so I clap my hands for him. He is a good coach....

He will play D1 someday if he meets eligibility. Good kid with skills.

He's a good player but not a UK type player. Any kid can get into campus facilities with the right hook up and AAU programs have that. Over us summer he was at UL. You can obvious see Coach Cal was grabbed for the picture.

Coach Cal isn't watching him.... Believe me I know for a fact. They hype this kid up from AAU circuit.
