Western Kentucky Power Ranking - 10/1/17
Yes unless he has a set back. The injury occurred in the Caldwell Co. game and he played threw it in the Ohio Co. game. He was in pads Friday and available "if needed" he just wasn't needed, more of a precautionary thing I do believe. The backup QB was really good for henderson. Greenwell went 10-14 for 150yds and 2TD's but I'm sure Skip will start Friday.

Good read 88. I sure am looking forward to this Friday night. Hoping to see Colonel Stadium packed out. There are so many similarities with these teams where they've both stumbled in non district play due to strong scheduling but have both had a pretty easy run of the district schedule so far. As far as whose played the tougher schedule that's hard for me to say because I'm unfamiliar with McCracken's out of state opponents but I know they've played Graves and Mayfield and those are 2 very good teams. After the expansion to 6 classes Henderson pretty much dominated its district up until the formation of McCracken and since then it's been all them. I'm confident that Coach Boston has the Colonels back on the right track to bring some competition to McCracken and make district 1 competitive again.

Next week should be interesting in Henderson. McCracken vs Henderson looks to be a competitive game and the winner probably takes the district.

Henderson started there back up QB. Giving the starter Skip Patterson a chance to rest a strained shoulder. He's in pads if needed.

Strength of Schedule Case Study - Ohio County vs. Henderson County
You hit the nail on the head with this post voice of reason. Henderson won 48-7 and I'm well aware that these kinds of blowout games happen every Friday. But their was a large percentage of people who actually picked Ohio Co. to win based off the difference in records between the two. The strength of schedule or lack thereof I didn't hear talked about very much. I heard some mentions made of how Ohio Co.'s schedule was a combined -13 (meaning they accumulated a -1 rating for every class smaller of a team they played) but to me that didn't tell the story. You can have a -whatever schedule and still have a tough schedule if your playing smaller schools like Mayfield, Caldwell Co., etc but that was far from the case for Ohio Co. they were playing smaller schools that to put it bluntly were terrible. I don't know how this can prepare you to be competitive come district time.

I did make a mistake. Ohio Co. tacked on a late touchdown late in the game and made it 48-7 after I had done left and I missed it on the radio so if any of the mods can change the score in the title it would be appreciated.

Not much of a game. Proved that 5-0 vs 1-4 doesn't mean much when you factor in strength of schedule. HC was up 35-0 at half and played entire 2nd half with backups.
