Dunbar took down a top 3 ranked team all season in Mercer County 58-55. This should be one of the best games of the tournament. Will Bowling Green advance to the state semis for the 3rd straight year or will Dunbar keep proving their dominance this season?

  9. 5th Region Tournament Preview (2-28-16) Taylor Co. (20th district champs) vs Nelson Co. (19th district runner-up): Taylor Co. comes in as the 5th region favorites and reigning champions as they made easy work of Campbellsville and Marion Co. in the district tournament and come in with a 21-8 record. Nelson Co. took down Washington Co. in the first round of their district tournament but then dropped the championship game to Bardstown. They come in with a 15-12 record. Taylor Co. won the only meeting between the two teams 75-41. North Hardin (17th district champs) vs Green Co. (18th district runner-up): North Hardin has been a top 2 or 3 team in the region all year long and won their district tournament with wins over Etown and Central Hardin. They come into the tournament with a 25-7 record. Green Co. defeated Hart Co. in the first game of their district tournament but then dropped the championship game to Caverna. They come into the region with a 21-9 record. This will be a matchup of two of the top players in the region Dominique Compton of Green Co. and Tony Jackson of North Hardin. Bardstown (19th district champs) vs Marion Co. (20th district runner-up): Bardstown has been one of the top teams in the region all season and have been playing great as of late as they defeated Washington Co. and Nelson Co. to win district. They have a 24-7 record on the season. Marion Co. has struggled all season long but stepped up when it mattered as they upset Adair Co. in the first round of the district tournament but were blown out by Taylor in the district finals. Marion has a 9-22 record. Bardstown won their only meeting this season in a route 92-59. Caverna (18th district champs) vs Central Hardin (17th district runner-up): Caverna comes in playing well after defeating Larue Co. and Green Co. to win their district tournament. They are led by the top scorer in the state and Mr. Basketball finalist Mason Faulkner. Caverna has a 16-10 record on the season. Central Hardin has been a top 5 team in the region for most of the season, they defeated a very good John Hardin team in the first round of district but lost to North Hardin in the finals. Central has a 21-6 record so far. Central Hardin won the only meeting 51-43. Top Players to Watch: 1. Quentin Goodin (Taylor Co.)- Goodin is arguably the best player in the state and a Mr. Basketball finalist. He also is a Xavier commit. Goodin is averaging 22.8 points and 8.1 rebounds on the season. 2. Mason Faulkner (Caverna)- Faulkner is the states leading scorer, Mr. Basketball finalist and a NKU commit. He averages 36.3 points and 11 rebounds a game. 3. David Sloan (Taylor Co.)- Sloan is arguably the best junior in the state and has many high D1 offers. Playing alongside Goodin he averages 20 points per game. 4. Tony Jackson (North Hardin)- Jackson is a top junior in the state and has tons of high D1 interest, he is what makes North Hardin go. He averages around 21-22 points per game. 5. Dominique Compton (Green Co.)- Compton a senior is a top 5 scorer in the state as he averages 29 points and 10 rebounds per game. 6. Dylan Gaines (Taylor Co.)- Gaines a Warren East transfer didn't start playing till late in the season but averages 12 points and 6 rebounds per game behind Goodin and Sloan. 7. Michael Reed (Central Hardin)- Reed averages 11 and 7 on the season and is a consistent force inside for the Bruins. 8. Cameron Cornish (Nelson Co.)- Cornish averages 19 a game for Nelson and has been their go to guy all year long. 9. Tyler Wethington (Marion Co.)- Wethington is a shoot first point guard who makes Marion go as he averages 17 points per game. 10. Santrel Farmer ( Bardstown)- Farmer is an explosive junior guard who averages 13 a game and leads Bardstown through his play making. Region Tournament Rankings: 1. Taylor Co. 2. North Hardin 3. Bardstown 4. Central Hardin 5. Caverna 6. Green Co. 7. Nelson Co. 8. Marion Co.
  10. The Indians just flat out did not show up, plus Marion got many good looks that they did make. Normally Adair has had Marion's # in district tournament time, but Marion was due revenge after losing 3 straight district first round games to them. The Indians return their core seniors next season and should still be a threat if they improve
  11. 5th Region Rankings and District Preview (2-21-16) 1. Taylor County (19-8)- Taylor Co. ends the regular season #1 just as they started and will head to the postseason as regional favorites but first they must beat crosstown rival Campbellsville on Wednesday to make region. 2. Bardstown (22-7)- Bardstown ends the regular season ranked #2 after beating North Hardin, and winning 5 straight. They will play the Thomas Nelson/Washington Co. winner on Thursday in district tournament action. 3. North Hardin (23-7)- North Hardin dropped a spot in the rankings as they lost a nail biter to Bardstown last week. They will look to make region as they play the Etown/Fort Knox winner on Wednesday in district action. 4. Central Hardin (20-5)- Central Hardin ended the regular season winning 4 of 5. They get rival John Hardin on Wednesday with a regional tournament birth on the line. 5. John Hardin (17-11)- John Hardin has got hot at the right time winning 7 of 8 heading into a district tournament showdown with Central Hardin on Wednesday. 6. Green County (20-8)- Green Co. has won 5 straight heading into district tournament play, and will face Hart Co. on Monday with a region tournament birth on the line. 7. Adair County (21-7)- Adair Co. ended the regular season winning 3 out of 4, and will look to make a 4th straight region tournament as they play Marion Co. on Thursday. 8. Caverna (14-10)- Caverna ended the regular season hot winning 4 straight, and should be very well prepared for district tournament action against Larue Co. on Tuesday. 9. Nelson County (14-11)- Nelson Co. lost 3 out of 4 to end the regular season, but get a chance to make region as they play Bethlehem on Thursday in district action. 10. Larue County (13-11)- Larue Co. ended the season with 2 straight wins. This should be good momentum for a district tournament showdown with Caverna on Tuesday. 11. Campbellsville (11-17)- Campbellsville ended the season with a solid win over Nelson Co. as they head into district tournament play to face region favorite and rival Taylor Co. on Wednesday. 12. Hart County (11-14)- Hart Co. won 4 of their last 5 games to end the season and are playing well going into district tournament play as they face Green Co. on Monday night. 13. Bethlehem (9-13)- Bethlehem ended the regular season winning 2 out of 3, up next they will meet rival Nelson Co. in the district tournament on Thursday with a region birth on the line. 14. Washington County (11-19)- Washington Co. lost 3 in a row to end the regular season, but they have a chance to get a district win over Thomas Nelson on Monday where the winner will face #1 seed Bardstown. 15. Marion County (8-21)- Marion ended the regular season on a sour note losing 3 straight all by double digits. They will play Adair Co. on Thursday for a chance to make region. 16. Elizabethtown (5-19)- Etown ended the regular season on a 5 game losing streak but will try and beat Fort Knox on Monday night in district tournament action where the winner gets North Hardin. 17. Fort Knox (10-18)- Fort Knox had a great regular season for their standards winning 10 games, and 3 in region play. We will see if they can upset Etown on Monday in the district tournament. 18. Thomas Nelson (1-29)- Thomas Nelson has only won one game so far and none in region play, they will look to steal one from Washington Co. in the district tournament on Monday. District Predictions 17th District: (1) North Hardin vs. (4) Fort Knox/Etown- North will be a heavy favorite in this game and should win by 25. (2) Central Hardin vs (3) John Hardin- Both of these teams have played well this season with John Hardin doing more so down the stretch. Matt Miller will impact this game and John Hardin will win by 4. District Champion Prediction- North Hardin over John Hardin 18th District: (1) Green Co. vs (4) Hart Co.- Green Co. has been playing well as of late but so has Hart Co, and these two split the season series. Dom Compton for Green will be too much to handle though as Green Co. wins by 12. (2) Caverna vs (3) Larue Co.- Caverna and Larue split their season series but Caverna led by state leading scorer Mason Faulkner will prove too much as Caverna wins by 6. District Champion Prediction- Green Co. over Caverna 19th District: (1) Bardstown vs (4) Thomas Nelson/ Washington Co.- Either team that faces Bardstown will be in for a tough test and i'm taking Bardstown by 20 over Washington. (2) Nelson Co. vs (3) Bethlehem- Nelson won both regular season meetings by double digits and I look for them to win this one but by only 8. District Champion Prediction- Bardstown over Nelson Co. 20th District: (1) Taylor Co. vs (4) Campbellsville- Taylor is clicking on all cylinders right now and their crosstown rival will not stop them as Taylor wins by 18. (2) Adair Co. vs (3) Marion Co.- These teams split the season series and will be in a tough battle with one another but the dynamic duo of Cam Lasley and Chance Melton for Adair will prove too much as they win by 4. District Champion Prediction- Taylor over Adair
  12. The point about Nelson is valid but their schedule is very weak. North does have a very good shot at region but Taylor Co. has won 4 straight and just beat Dunbar and won at North a few weeks back so they deserve the top spot

(17-8)- Taylor Co. moves back to the #1 spot in the rankings after going 4-0 last week with wins over Casey Co., Marion Co., Larue Co., and #2 ranked in the state Paul Dunbar. They will look for their 5th straight win on Tuesday against Nelson Co. 2. North Hardin (22-6)- North Hardin lost their lone game last week in a blowout against top ten team in the state Henry Clay. They will look to bounce back on Friday against Bardstown. 3. Central Hardin (19-4)- Central won their lone game last week against Adair Co. They will next play Breckenridge Co. on Tuesday as they go for 4 wins in a row. 4. Bardstown (19-7)- Bardstown won both games last week in blowouts. They get a big time game against #5 John Hardin on Monday night to try and make it a 3 game win streak. 5. John Hardin (15-10)- John Hardin went 2-0 last week and are now on a 5 game winning streak. They will look to try and make it 6 in a row against #4 Bardstown on Monday. 6. Green Co. (18-8)- Green Co. won their only game last week against Metcalfe Co. They pick back up action on Tuesday against Campbellsville. 7. Adair Co. (20-7)- Adair Co. went 1-1 last week with a big time win on the road against rival Russell Co. They will next play their final regular season game on Friday against Hart Co. 8. Nelson Co. (14-9)- Nelson Co. won their only game last week against Western Hills. They pick back up against #1 Taylor Co. on Tuesday. 9. Caverna (12-10)- Caverna won their only game last week against Glasgow. Up next they host Campbellsville on Monday. 10. Larue Co. (11-11)- Larue Co. dropped their only game last week to Taylor Co. They will play next against Etown on Tuesday. 11. Washington Co. (11-16)- Washington Co. moves up to the 11th spot in the rankings after going 3-0 last week. They will go for their 4th straight win on Monday against Hart Co. 12. Campbellsville (10-15)- Campbellsville went 1-1 last week picking up a win over Bethlehem. They are back in action on Monday against Caverna. 13. Marion Co. (8-19)- Marion Co. dropped their only game last week against Taylor Co. Tuesday they will pick back up against John Hardin. 14. Bethlehem (8-12)- Bethlehem went 1-1 last week and will pick back up on Tuesday as they travel to Spencer Co. 15. Elizabethtown (5-17)- Etown went 1-3 this past week with their lone win coming against Hart Co. Up next for the Panthers is Warren Central on Tuesday. 16. Hart Co. (8-13)- Hart Co. went 1-1 this past week, up next they get Washington Co. on Monday. 17. Fort Knox (8-17)- Fort Knox went 1-1 last week, they will pick back up against Washington Co. on Tuesday. 18. Thomas Nelson (1-27)- Thomas Nelson lost both games last week. Their final regular season game will be on Tuesday vs. East Jessamine.

They look to bounce back Monday as they get Marion Co. again. 3. Central Hardin (18-4)- Central Hardin only played one game last week getting a win over Fort Knox. They have a big time game @Adair Co. on Tuesday. 4. Bardstown (17-7)- Bardstown went 2-1 last week getting wins over Nelson Co. and Bethlehem, they next have a big game against #5 John Hardin on Tuesday. 5. John Hardin (13-10)- John Hardin moves up to #5 in the rankings as they went 2-0 last week with wins over Etown and Desales. They next get Meade Co. on Monday. 6. Nelson Co. (13-9)- Nelson Co. moves up to #6 in the rankings after going 1-1 last week. They defeated Green Co. but lost to Bardstown. Up next they get Larue Co. 7. Adair Co. (19-6)- Adair Co. went 1-1 last week losing to Larue Co. and getting a win over Campbellsville. They have a busy week coming up and it starts with playing #3 Central Hardin on Tuesday. 8. Green Co. (17-8)- Green Co. had wins over Larue Co. and Bethlehem last week as they went 2-1 for the week. They will next get Metcalfe Co. on Friday. 9. Caverna (11-10)- Caverna only played one game last week as they defeated Clinton Co. They next get Warren East on Monday. 10. Larue Co. (11-10)- Larue Co. picked up a win over Adair Co. last week and it was their lone win for the week as they went 1-1. They will play next against Nelson Co. on Tuesday. 11. (8-16)- Washington Co. went 2-2 last week with wins over Thomas Nelson and Cumberland Co. They will next get to play Whitefield Academy on Tuesday. 14. Bethlehem (7-11)- Bethlehem went 1-2 this past week getting a win over Thomas Nelson. They will next play Sayre on Tuesday. 15. Hart Co. (7-12)- Hart Co. went 2-1 last week with wins over Cumberland Co. and Allen Co. Scottsville. Up next they get Etown on Monday. 16. Elizabethtown (4-14)- Etown went 1-1 on the week picking up a W against Fort Knox. They next get Hart Co. 17. Fort Knox (7-15)- Fort Knox went 1-2 this past week with their win coming against Evangelical Christian. They pick it back up this week against Beth Haven. 18. Thomas Nelson (1-25)-Thomas Nelson went 0-4 this past week and still have only won one game on the season. They will look to bounce back next against Hart Co.

(12-7)- Taylor Co. remained on top of the rankings this week as they picked up a revenge win against Adair Co. by 17, as well as a 7 point win over Bryan Station. The Cardinals will play a district makeup game next on Monday against Marion Co. 2. North Hardin (21-5)- North Hardin is hot right now as they went 4-0 on the week. With wins over John Hardin, Central Hardin, Etown, and Casey Co. They will try to get their win streak to 5 games Tuesday against Marion Co. 3. Central Hardin (17-4)- Central Hardin continued its stellar play this past week getting wins over Pulaski Co. and Oldham Co. but dropping a game by 3 to #2 North Hardin. The Bruins will next play Fort Knox on Tuesday. 4. Bardstown (15-6)- Bardstown went 3-0 on the week as they got wins over Washington County, Bullitt East, and Meade Co. Up next they play Bethlehem on Tuesday. 5. Adair Co. (18-5)- Adair Co. went 2-1 in the past week as they lost @ Taylor Co. but picked up home wins over Etown and Washington Co. The Indians will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Larue Co. 6. Green Co. (15-7)- Green Co. had a good past week as they picked up a win over Fort Knox then a win over Shelby Valley in All A state. They dropped a game to Murray in the second round. They'll be back in action on Tuesday against Nelson Co. 7. Nelson Co. (12-8)- Nelson Co. stayed hot last week as they got wins over Hart Co. and Marion Co. They next will get Green Co. on Tuesday. 8. John Hardin (11-10)- John Hardin went 2-1 this last week picking up wins over Fort Knox and North Oldham while dropping a game to North Hardin. They will next get Etown on Tuesday. 9. Caverna (10-10)- Caverna was off this past week and will be back in action on Tuesday against Clinton Co. 10. Larue Co. (10-9)- Larue Co. only played one game this past week and they got a win over Thomas Nelson. They will next host Adair Co. on Tuesday. 11. Campbellsville (7-13)- Campbellsville went 1-1 on the week as they lost to Clinton Co. but got back on the winning side with a win over Thomas Nelson. They will next get Washington Co. on Monday. 12. Marion Co. (7-16)- Marion Co. dropped both games this week as they lost to Nelson Co. and Fairdale. Up next they get North Hardin on Tuesday. 13. Bethlehem (6-9)- Bethlehem went 1-1 this past week as they lost to North Bullitt but picked up a win over Whitefield Academy. Up next they get Bardstown on Tuesday. 14. Washington Co. (6-14)- Washington Co. went 2-2 on the week as they dropped games to Adair Co. and Bardstown, but got wins over Burgin and Dayton. They will be back in action on Monday against Campbellsville. 15. Hart Co. (5-11)- Hart Co. went 1-1 last week as they dropped a game to Nelson Co. but picked up a win over Portland Christian. The Raiders will next play on Monday against Cumberland Co. 16. Elizabethtown (3-13)- Etown went 1-2 on the week, dropping games to North Hardin and Adair Co. but picking up a win over Iroqouis. The Panthers will next play John Hardin on Tuesday. 17. Fort Knox (5-13)- Fort Knox lost both games this past week and will be back in action on Monday against Portland Christian. 18. Thomas Nelson (1-21)- Thomas Nelson went 1-2 this past week but got their first win of the season over Metcalfe Co. They will next play North Bullitt on Monday.
  17. Taylor Co. avenged their loss from earlier in the season to the Indians. Adair was up as much as 28-18 at one point and was only down by one in the third quarter but the Taylor Co. offense proved to much, as well as Dylan Gaines playing his first game as he contributed 14 pts and 10 rebounds.

  19. 5th Region Rankings (1-24-15) 1. Taylor Co. (10-7)- Taylor Co. remains at #1 in the rankings this week as they picked up a win over Hart Co. in their last game and will have 2 big district contests this week. They will play Marion Co. on Monday and try and avenge their early season loss to Adair Co. on Tuesday. 2. North Hardin (17-5)- North Hardin picked up a win over Etown this past week, and will look to keep it going against Fort Knox in a district contest on Tuesday. 3. Central Hardin (15-3)- Central Hardin picked up a huge win over Bardstown this past week to jump to #3 in the rankings. They will look to continue their solid play in their next game vs Oldham Co. 4. Bardstown (12-6)- Bardstown had a big time showdown with Central Hardin this past week and they fell 72-69 in overtime thus dropping them to 4th in the rankings. They will look to bounce back on Tuesday against Washington Co. 5. Adair Co. (16-4)- Adair Co. was upset by Marion Co. this week and split the season series with them. The Indians will have a big time game on Tuesday as they go to #1 Taylor Co, and try to get the season sweep and secure the #1 Seed in the district. 6. Green Co. (13-6)- Green Co. moves up to #6 in the rankings this week as they blew out Caverna in the All A Region, then turned around and defeated Campbellsville as well in the tournament. They will next get Fort Knox in the All A Finals. 7. Nelson Co. (10-8)- Nelson Co. continues to rise in the rankings as they defeated Thomas Nelson this past week. Up next they get Hart Co. on Tuesday. 8. Caverna (10-10)- Caverna was blown out by Green Co. on Monday in the All A Region this week. They are going to be off for awhile now and will next play Clinton Co. 9. John Hardin (9-9)- John Hardin took down Etown in their only game this week. They will next get Fort Knox in another district contest on Tuesday. 10. Larue Co. (9-9)- Larue Co. went 1-1 this week losing to Spencer Co. but defeated Bullitt Central. Next up they will play Glasgow on Tuesday. 11. Marion Co. (7-14)- Marion Co. picked up a big upset district win this week vs Adair Co. and will look to continue their good play in their next game against Taylor Co. on Monday. 12. Bethlehem (5-8)- Bethlehem was upset this week by Fort Knox in the first round of the All A Region. They next will play Whitefield Academy on Monday. 13. Campbellsville (6-12)- Campbellsville's struggles continued this week as they lost to Green Co. in the All A Region. They will look to get back on track Monday vs Clinton Co. 14. Hart Co. (4-10)- Hart Co. dropped a game to region favorite Taylor Co. this week, and will next play Nelson Co. 15. Washington Co. (4-12)- Washington Co. did not play a game this week due to the snow and will next play Bardstown in a district contest on Tuesday. 16. Elizabethtown (2-11)- Etown dropped a district game this week to John Hardin, and will next get North Hardin on Tuesday. 17. Fort Knox (5-11)- Fort Knox had a solid week as they defeated Frederick Fraize and upset Bethlehem in the All A Region to make the finals. Their next game will be against Valley. 18. Thomas Nelson (0-19)- Thomas Nelson lost to Nelson Co. this week and continue a winless season. They will get their next chance at a win against Metcalfe Co. on Monday.
  20. 5th Region Rankings (1-17-15) 1. Taylor Co. (9-7)- Taylor Co. is back on top at #1 in the rankings after a very successful week. They defeated previously #1 North Hardin on the road, then picked up a win over a very good South Laurel team. Their next contest will be against Hart Co. on Tuesday. 2. North Hardin (16-5)- North Hardin falls to #2 as they went 1-1 last week. They defeated Etown but took a tough loss to Taylor Co. at home allowing Taylor to retake their #1 ranking in the region. North looks to bounce back against Meade Co. in their next game. 3. Bardstown (12-5)- Bardstown stays at #3 in the rankings as they went 2-1 last week. Getting wins over Thomas Nelson and Bethlehem but taking a blowout loss to Southwestern. They get a showdown with #5 Central Hardin next on Tuesday. 4. Adair Co. (16-3)- Adair Co. stays at #4 in the rankings as they keep on rolling, picking up wins over Caverna and Metcalfe Co. this past week. Their next game will be a district matchup with Marion Co. on Tuesday as they go for the season sweep. 5. Central Hardin (14-3)- Central Hardin remains at #5 in our rankings as they defeated John Hardin and Fort Knox this past week. They get a big time test against #3 Bardstown on Tuesday night. 6. Caverna (10-9)- Caverna climbs to #6 in our rankings as they went 2-1 this past week. They lost to Adair Co. but bounced back with district wins over Larue Co. and Green Co. They will get a rematch with Green Co. on Monday in the All A Region. 7. John Hardin (8-9)- John Hardin only played one game this past week as they lost to Central Hardin. Their next contest will be against Etown. 8. Green Co. (11-6)- Green Co. went 2-1 this past week defeating Glasgow and Marion Co. but taking a tough district loss to Caverna. They will get a revenge game on Monday though as they get Caverna again in the All A Region. 9. Nelson Co. (9-8)- Nelson Co. is rising in our rankings as they beat both Washington Co. and Bethlehem this past week. Their next game will be against Thomas Nelson. 10. Larue Co. (8-8)- Larue Co. lost 2 district games last week to Caverna and Hart Co. and will look to get things on track against Spencer Co. in their next game. 11. Bethlehem (5-7)- Bethlehem dropped 2 district games this past week losing to Bardstown and Nelson Co. Up next they get Fort Knox in the All A Region. 12. Marion Co. (6-14)- Marion Co. moved up this week despite going 1-2. They lost to South Warren and Green Co. but picked up a big district win over Campbellsville. They next get Adair Co. on Tuesday in a district clash. 13. Campbellsville (6-11)- Campbellsville fell in the rankings this week as they lost to Marion Co. and Hart Co. Their next game will be in the All A Region and the opponent is not yet known. 14. Hart Co. (4-9)- Hart Co. won both games this past week thus moving up in our rankings as they defeated Campbellsville, and Larue Co. They next will get a matchup with region favorite Taylor Co. 15. Washington Co. (4-11)- Washington Co. lost both games this past week losing to Nelson Co. and Beth Haven. Up next will be a game against Danville. 16. Elizabethtown (2-10)- Etown went 1-2 this past week, picking up a win over Fort Knox but dropping games to North Hardin and Meade Co. Up next they will take on John Hardin. 17. Fort Knox (3-11)- Fort Knox dropped both games this week losing to Central Hardin and Hancock Co. Their next contest will be against Bethlehem. 18. Thomas Nelson (0-18)- Thomas Nelson continued their winless season this week with losses to Shelby Co. and Bardstown. Their next game will be against Nelson Co.

  22. 5th Region Rankings (1-10-16) 1. North Hardin (15-4)- North Hardin remains atop the rankings picking up 2 huge wins this past week over Louisville Central 65-51, and Central Hardin 42-41 as well as a win over Fort Knox. They next get Etown in a tune up for a big time game against Taylor County on Thursday. 2. Bardstown (10-4)- Bardstown moves to the #2 spot for the first time this season, as they continued their hot streak this past week picking up wins over Casey County, Washington County and Nelson County. They next play Bethlehem in another district matchup. 3. Taylor Co. (7-7)- Taylor County falls to #3 in our rankings for the first time this year. They did pick up a win over Campbellsville on Friday, but lost by 12 to Doss on Saturday night and have now lost 2 out of their last 3. They can prove they need to be ranked higher though as their next game is against #1 ranked North Hardin. 4. Adair Co. (14-3)- Adair County continued their 4 game win streak this week as they picked up wins over Thomas Nelson and @ Allen County-Scottsville avenging a loss from earlier in the year. They next will play Caverna on Monday night who they previously defeated earlier in the season. 5. Central Hardin (12-3)- Central Hardin split 2 district games this past week as they lost to North Hardin, but defeated Etown. They will next have a big time district game against John Hardin on Tuesday. 6. John Hardin (8-8)- John Hardin won 2 out of 3 this past week as they defeated Christian Academy of Louisville and Meade County despite dropping a game to Collins. They next will have a big district game against Central Hardin. 7. Caverna (8-8)- Caverna moved up to the #7 spot in the rankings this week after wins over Bethlehem, and Hart County. Their next game will be a district showdown with Larue County. 8. Green Co. (9-5)- Green County fell a spot in the rankings this week as they did win against Larue County but dropped a game to Hart County. Their next game will be against Glasgow. 9. Larue Co. (8-6)- Larue County moved up a few spots this week in the rankings as they did lose to Green County, but had 2 solid wins over Campbellsville and Thomas Nelson. They next have a district matchup with Caverna. 10. Nelson Co. (7-8)- This past week Nelson County defeated Spencer County, but dropped a game to Bardstown. They will next have a district game against Washington County. 11. Campbellsville (6-9)- Campbellsville dropped a few spots in our rankings this week after losing to both Larue County and Taylor County. They will next play Hart County. 12. Bethlehem (5-5)- Bethlehem lost to Caverna, but defeated Washington Co. this past week. Up next they have a district showdown with Bardstown. 13. Washington Co. (4-9)- Washington Co. has moved up in our rankings after defeating Marion County, though they did lose to Bardstown and Bethlehem. Up next for them will be a district game vs Nelson Co. 14. Marion Co. (5-12)- Marion Co. split 2 games this past week as they won at Sayre, but lost to Washington Co. They will next be up against Green Co. 15. Hart Co. (2-9)- Hart Co. split a pair of district games last week, defeating Green Co, but losing to Caverna. They will next play Campbellsville. 16. Elizabethtown (1-8)- Etown's struggles continued this past week as they were blown out by Central Hardin. Up next they will play Fort Knox in a district game on Monday. 17. Fort Knox (3-8)- Fort Knox won and lost a game this past week, and will next play Etown on Monday. 18. Thomas Nelson (0-16)- Thomas Nelson continued their winless season this past week losing both games. Up next is a game vs Shelby Co. at home.
