Adair replaced Pulaski County in the game against North Hardin.

Adair County junior Corey Melton scored his 1,000th career point.

Adair wins the Campbellsville Holiday Classic, Kel Stotts led the indians with 20 points and was named tournament MVP

Kel Stotts and Corey Melton led the indians with 18 each. Adair will play Green County @ 6central time tomorrow night in Campbellsville Holiday Classic Final.

So are the player rankings in order, because I'm honestly surprised to see Trace Young all the way at 6th. I thought he was a top player in state?

This was a very good game and a shock to most who thought it may be a blowout. Adair's defense played it's best game ever possibly as it would bend but not break, and even though their season is over the best group of seniors in school history ended up showing they could hang with the big boys in this one.

This could be a shootout as it was last year. Two teams with very good skill players on both sides, line of scrimmage will determine the game.

Adair dominated first half getting out to a 26-6 lead. They were then outscored 14-0 in second half as Union controlled ball. Score was going to be 26-14 until a crazy late touchdown as time expired for Union Co. that didn't have an outcome on game. Indians now will go to Caldwell for the second year in a row. Caldwell won the meeting last year 61-39.

Adair won this meeting last season in the first round 62-23. Union has been much improved this season, though their starting running back and star player has been out last 3 weeks. For Union to compete they will need him to play, if not could be another lopsided contest. The winner will most likely get a trip to Caldwell Co. in the second round.

Adair went up 26-14 in the second quarter but would never score again as Casey scored 22 unanswered to end game

Teams Participating: Adair County Betsy Lane Campbellsville Marion County Monroe County Mercer County Cville hosting their annual Christmas classic once again with a good mix of teams, and a few really talented players. I would assume Adair and Mercer are the presumed favorites.

Teams Participating: Adair Co. Caverna Collins Cumberland Co. Monroe Co. Russell Co. Todd County Central Warren East Not sure how some of these teams will be, but should be good mix.

So Young still isn't eligible? Did not know about that

Definitely should be. Their are at least 4-5 teams who could make a good run at winning it.
