  1. All I know is that he was introduced to the team as the new OC not a consultant. Why would he be introduced as the new OC if he was only being used as a consultant? And why would he be installing his offense if someone else was going to be the OC? All the OC's that I'he ever known have their own offense they don't use another coach's playbook to run their offense.

Not really anything to talk about I simply made a comment that a few of the players told me that Pardue was introduced as the new OC at Boyle. I haven't read any official announcements about it, but it dosen't make a lot sense for the players to be told that he's the new OC if He really isn't.

I've heard of some players saying he is the OC but I have yet to hear of him being introduced to the team as the new OC. I'm hearing a lot of the same things that BlacknGold is hearing and that Pardue doesn't want to be a coach and just wants to come around from time to time when needed. I have also heard he likes his job at Mercer County and doesn't want to give that job up. I have yet to see an official announcement about anyone being the new OC. I guess in time we'll see what Chuck Smith decides to do. As of today I am hearing it won't be Pardue even though he is helping out at spring practice.

  2. Yikes...

@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN sources says Mavs are ruling out Rajon Rondo indefinitely after back injury he sustained in Game 2

Head case and he's damaged goods. He's definitely headed to LA for about 15 million a year.

I actually hope the Lakers sign him now. That way when they suck again Jeanie Buss will be forced to fire her brother and Phil will come back and Kobe will retire and go to the front office to work with Mitch.

  3. I don't know of a single person who takes any of those 4 seriously with regards to college basketball. They're all irrelevant.

When any of them say anything I expect there to be some shade thrown at UK and then I can't listen to them anymore. As great as UK and Calipari have been since Cal took over I am more and more amazed that anyone would take anything those haters say with a grain of salt.

  4. The media spins things the way they want whether its right or wrong. They don't have to account for anything. Coach Cal has to wear the black hat and coach K gets to wear the white hat because he has never done anything wrong in his entire life according to them.

Yeah let's all get in an uproar about Bob Knight, Pat Forde, Pete Thamel and Jeff Goodman. We'll ignore Jay Bilas, Jay Williams, Dick Vitale and the countless others who have heaped tons of credit and praise to Calipari for being master recruiter and great coach. IMO the only beef UK fans should have with anyone is the USWA for not making Coach Cal the Coach of the Year. Cal should have been the unanimous choice for COY amongst all awards.

Those stats came from this site: Dog Attack Deaths and Maimings, U.S. & Canada, September 1982 to December 31, 2014 - By Merritt Clifton - DogsBite.org

I'm not clamoring for their complete validity, but there are similar stats on the same issues on multiple sites

I have 3 Huskies and they are never left with my grandson unattended. At the same time my grandson will never be left unattended at our house.

  6. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I know a lot of people are going to say LeBron and that's cool, I just disagree. If Davis isn't on his level quite yet, he will be very very soon.

AD isn't there yet but he's getting closer every game. Lebron is still Lebron.

  7. Russ won't get this many shots with a healthy KD will he? Now he basically does what ever he wants to do due to all of the injuries, and he's been great doing it. When everyone gets back will he still do all of this?

I'm not a big fan of Russ, but as Cal says "He can ball!"

KD's presence has never stopped Russ from taking shots. This season Russ elevated his game to another level. There's no going back after this season. If anything the Thunder will be even better when KD returns.
