  1. this is the one game I wish I could have come back to have seen, but there's football to be played in tiffin . Forget my sob story tho lol... Let's just focus on CCH's when the Tigers win 32-14.
  2. At the West practice today, not completely sure who, but I believe a player from Scott(could be wrong, looked like Scott apparel) hurt his knee. He was assisted off the field and took off all of his equipment. Sad to see, but that's the nature of the beast.
  3. Good schedule, if this team is anything like the previous years', I'm 100% sure they'll be in the running to make it far. Still have to root for NKY though.
  4. NCSA contacted a family member of mine and myself, the relative took the option and I did not. IMO, we don't believe there is a difference that they made for us. Both of us were contacted by multiple divisions of teams, in total around the mid-teens. The real reason that we feel we were recruited was due to getting your name out, go to camps and such, try hard to make some highlights, become a starter, etc.
  5. I have, I'll take north over south any day/week/year, it's just better football IMO
  6. I just love the talk, pretty nice to see Louisville grow some MALE parts and call the north(or peak) of Kentucky football out
  7. Coming from a meathead, especially a meathead from beechwood... I've got to say I'm pretty envious of that setup! Looks great compared to before!
  8. After looking over the list, not sure if seen... But Jonathon Stokes of Beechwood to Garden City(JC) and Bret Finck of Beechwood to Heidelberg University(D3)
  9. Thanks! I'm glad to see everyone's pride in their teams. I will try to keep BGP updated on how Kentucky's finest are doing at Heidelberg
  10. Thank you! Where and what do you play?
  11. to the best of my knowledge, he has been in contact, not offered. But Slusher has been in good contact with Ohio University and UC for both football and baseball, I believe scholarships will easily be sent his way, quality player with a hunger for being the alpha, it shows on the field
  12. After knowing coach fisher's opinion, I'm very sure he won't let joey go, but then again Rash has the full authority on defense, Other DTs I see getting time are Rowe, Campbell, or Hermes. sadly there's a rumor that Coach Procachino is no longer a coach, so idk if there will be a request or just an order for him to move. Then again neither is Reinstatler(strength and OLine) or Culp(JV/QB) are returning. Tigers have some big shoes and cleats to fill, I'm hoping they will be by the postseason. Also rumors of Bankemper are coming out, I have spoke with him personally, I have reason to believe he is just nostalgic, and not exactly determined, but that's experience at LB that would be crucial.
  13. I'm glad to hear it! I'm always an NKY supporter, as long as a trophy is coming back and it wasn't taken from Beechwood, you can bet that I'm happy
  14. I was told to check this out so here is a post. I'm an alum from Beechwood, literally just left the system for football. I played MLB and TE/FB, but will go to the next level as a defender. I'm here to stay connected and see what there is know about my tigers and their opponents. I'm going to be playing college ball up at Heidelberg University(a D3 School in Tiffin, Ohio) this fall so I guess this is my most reliable source of what's new at the wood. I'll be sure to be serious and nonpartisan in my posts, but I think you'll be aware of who I want to win if you just look at my name.
  15. Defense wins championships, and this team will have to work hard to try and reload. Finck and McKown made a big centerpiece for that defense, and will likely be replaced by Overstreet and Soward, both are athletic enough to take their places. Soward lacks in strength more, and Overstreet is just as good, if not better, in the weightroom as McKown. No D-Ends return(combs is sticking to baseball). Joey Sherron and Dalton Everett are likely to replace them, both are not what their predecessors were, but after a few games they can easily get into the rhythm. Really the big difference maker this year is not stepping up to the plate, but The Plates(weightroom). Last year's class was not mostly in baseball. Key leaders are in baseball this year(stringer Slusher fieger Rowe Sherron Way. Others that aren't seniors are Benson and Soward) and not in the weightroom getting stronger. Cardio will also be a kicker, last year's class allowed McKown and Finck to be virtually one way players, being able to lead defense well. With a loss of so many starters, the fitness of this team will be huge in replacing so many in both sides
