I like Centers game. Should have played more last year to prepare him for this season. I do think it’ll be his task to bare—taking on the McNeil role. Should pair nicely with Spencer and Walters. I just want to see where the scoring will come from. I know Sullivan can also manage a grind it out, 46-40 kind of game.
I agree it’s gonna be interesting to see where they get it. Houston and Deere are both very good shooters. I think the scoring will be a little more spread out this year than the previous years.

No Kunkel for sure. Not many teams have that. Also, no Sean McNeil, again, not many teams do. But, does this team have a Chris McNeil? He was a tough, hard nosed kid who loved competition and played with no fear. He was a really good leader, as well.
I think Centers can take on that load. He’s a very physical guard that will compete and battle against any player that guards himor that he guards. Now after saying that we all know AAU is a different animal and they let you play a lot more physical in AAU. So I guess we’ll see if he’s mature enough to handle it.

Caleb will be an asset to this team, along w/ G.Pearson.
Absolutely agree!! To make it to Rupp the Jags need everyone stepping up!!!

Cooper first scrimmage game Saturday 1-4.
-
I would think there would have to be minute for Bowles. In addition to being solid defensively, he is a good ball handler.
Yes sir I agree. Kid plays hard and has really work on his outside shooting.
-
Is Bowles gonna get time this year? He’s a real pest on D.
-
Grant Disken is a top 5 player in NKY. People just don't know it yet.
Kid can play. I think there will be several Juniors making names for themselves in the ninth this year. I love the 2020 class.

South Laurel @ Cooper on the 17th 1-4 v,jv,f
-
Will Walters be the lead "go-to" offensive player? Is Kevin Centers the best guard on the team, who will be looked to for scoring from the perimeter?
Several guys can hit the 3. Walters ,Houston, Centers, Deere, Spencer,Pearson,
-
Zac Jennings is another tall one. 6’3”, I would say.
Absolutely sorry I forgot him and Caleb Hampton is a long 6’
-
I think Sullivan will have his guys ready to play defense and if they won’t play defense he’ll have a place ready on the bench for them that’s for sure.
-
They could easily have 5-6 kids average double digits in scoring
-
Houston coming off a great AAU season the kid can play.
Spencer not many kids I seen with his size and strength that can handle the ball and shoot really well.
Baker has gotten a ton better and is playing a lot more physical. Should be a force down low!
-
Will any team in NKy be able to compete with CCH? In years past it’s only been Cooper. Is this year a foregone conclusion?
I think Cooper will be right there again.
-
Cooper has some nice length this year Spencer 6’5”
Walters 6’5”
Deere 6’5”
Baker 6’7”ish
Houston 6’4”
Centers 6’2”
Can’t wait to see these boys on the court!! Should be fun season in the ninth once again. Great talent spread around in NKY.

This year's roster hasn't been posted yet, and without knowing for certain who all will still be suiting up, here are the Sophomores and Juniors from last season's team....
Blaine Walters G, Sr
Josh Baker F, G - Sr
Jaidon David G - Sr
Caleb Hampton F, G - Sr
Ty Houston G - Sr
Kameron Moore F, G - Sr
Alex Oilier G - Sr
Kevin Centers G - Jr
Zac Jennings F - Jr
Jacob Liechty G - Jr
Gavin Pearson G, - Jr
Jaxon Rollins G, Jr
Michael Spencer F, Jr
It's also safe to say that there will be handful of new Sophomores this year from last season's Freshman team filling out the squad.
This is so incomplete and speculative at best, but hopefully helpful to some degree as a starting point.
Thank you.

Does anyone know the roster for the Jags?
-
No doubt. I agree 100%. I just think the depth of Cov Cath will be tuff to deal with.
Definitely could be but you can only put 5 on the court at one time.
-
There’s no doubt about it. Cov Cath has the depth and the best team
Cooper has some pretty good players and the best coach so it should be a fun game once again!!
-
I think it will come down to CCH and Cooper to battle it out again for the ninth
-
I heard from a very reliable source Vince Rankin will be moving to Cov Cath for his senior year
Don’t understand y he would do that his senior year.
-
Any truth to the rumor about Harmon coming to CCH
-
CJ I believe was coming off a broken foot, Walter got in way better shape, AJ was rested from football, and Ruthsatz just got way way better.
Both McNeils were injured also last year.
-
Yes but he didn’t have Aiden as a Sr, AJ Mayer as a Sr, Walter as a Sr, Fredrick and Nowak as Sr or Michael Mayer.
I’d say that’s a big difference as those guys definitely got a LOT better from last year.
Michael played last year probably about as much as this year. Cooper was in the same boat last year with all Jr’s. I’m just saying if they were more talented this year they should’ve been last year also.

Cooper D was solid. Scoring came from all over in their win over South Laurel
