I’m expecting a great game!!
-
It looked like it was hard for the Jags to stay focused and play. They looked bored with the game also.
-
I would love to see his (Niece) shooting percentage. It has to be really high. I think he only missed four or five shots last night.
How many shots a game does he take??
-
The region rankings and the state rankings are not determined by the same people.
Oh gotcha. Sorry.
-
1. Scott County
2. Trinity
3. University Heights
4. Henry Clay
5. Warren Central
6. LaRue County
7. Campbell County
8. Covington Catholic
9. Mayfield
10. Lexington Christian Academy
11. Walton-Verona
12. George Rogers Clark
13. Ballard
14. Bowling Green
15. Central Hardin
16. Waggener
17. South Laurel
18. St. Xavier
19. Collins
20. Butler
Cooper number 1 in the ninth in front of Covington Catholic but not in top 20??
-
Did either team play defense? That’s alot of points.
-
Who’s more talented?
There’s a few teams with just as much talent if not more. Highlands, Cooper, New port.
-
Looked closer to the real Colonels tonight. Going to take time, but they are still the most talented team in NKY.
Most athletic I would say but not most talented.
-
Fun to watch the Jags play like they did last night. Shared the ball and played great defense!!
-
Technical on player, Ruthsatz, or assistant coach?
Player
-
They're forced to play some because of seeding,LOL, but surely you get my drift.
Cov Cath. Is an awesome team. I am really looking forward to their matchup with Cooper.
-
I agree with your first 3 statements, but I failed to see many holes in CCH. I really don't see any NKY teams beating them.
Guess that’s why they play the games.
-
Who threw the elbow? What number?
-
Did Kevin Centers play?
How did the Jags JV do?
Taylor Curtis, DJ, Muniz, Zach Jennings?
Centers was playing solid on D and rebounding well his shots weren’t falling. Made good move to get to the basket a couple times. Picked up T on loose ball battling with Westerbeck, sat the second half.
Jennings is looking real good, the kid just battles his but off. I think he had 12 points in the first half.
-
I think Macke and Rusch would start for not all, but most of the teams in the 10th Region. They are good players.
I agree with Rusch.
-
Rusch does have a good Field Goal % of about 50%. Taking about 20 shots a game. Added with Free throws that’s pretty dang good.
Yea that’s really dang good. Great young man. Good luck to him this year.
-
How many shots per game does he take to average the points per game?? There’s a lot of other players in NKY area that play for bigger schools that can’t take 25-30 shots per game. Frederick and Kunkle last year I would assume took 12-15 shots per game.
-
Cooper beats Paris 59-44 in their final scrimmage game today. Good luck to the Jags as they open up the season Tuesday @ St. Henry.
-
What does grade level have to do with it?
Your right sorry. I definitely think he’s the best guard on that team. Time will tell I guess.
-
- Centers will definitely start for Cooper.
- Diskin has been a great player his entire career just had to wait his turn. Possibly the most competitive kid in NKY.
- The Mayer/Spencer comparison is silly. Their games are night and day different than each other. Just body size is similar. If you could put Spencer's skills into Mayer body, heart and motor you'd probably have the a Mr. Basketball Candidate. Don't forget that Spencer should be a 2020 kid also but he's so smart he's graduating a year early.
- I don't see Draud being here yet. He's still young.
- Has anyone fixed Ryle yet. Biggest mess of any school in the state.
I wouldn’t say Centers is a lock to start. There’s 7 seniors on that team.
-
Cooper plays at Paris Saturday 11:00
-
Curious to know how Josh Baker played if anyone attended the scrimmage. Also, did Michael Spencer play?
Spencer played well. Baker looked stronger and more active.
-
What was the score in the scrimmage? Was South Laurel competitive? I am continuing to hear more and more about this Cooper team that makes it seem like they’re going to be really, really good again.
The final was 59-55. South Laurel is very good team. Great guard play. Ramey and Croomer best two guards in their region.
-
Have not seen them play yet, but can’t wait!
How about others like DJ, Taylor Curtis, Zac Jennings and Zac Taylor?
Don’t know all the kids. I do know Jennings I thought he looked much improved. Had some nice moves around the basket, he’s getting bigger and stronger every time I see him play.
