Right on, the info is correct but most players in this area will get much better offers that apsu. I know they have upset the coaching fraternity in wky and it will be hard to recruit this area in the future as this bunch is very close.

The AD and 2 coaches that stayed on to run the show came to see the player 2 times and told him that the AD said the school was going to honor all offers that the old coach made and to not go anywhere else. The player took them on their word and did not go looking for any other offers as he wanted to go and play for this terrible program for some reason. Now do you see a lie anywhere??? this offer came directly from the AD whether or not he had the authority to do so or not. With decisions like this would you send a player of your there? one win in three years looks like he would get rid of the old not the new!

did not lie to me but to this kids family who are great people, I am just upset on what was done to this kid. this late in the game it will be hard for him to land anywhere as he stopped looking when they offered. also a coach can make or break a college in his school as he does not have to let them in to see his players and he can lead then to a school that he has placed players in the past, AKA Steve Pardue at UK! I would bet that there will be no love showed APSU from Hopkinsville and all of the CCHS staff and friends of the staff as there are many!

How can a coach tell his player to go there and commit when there is a pattern that they will not honor their word? I think as a coach that I would lead my player in another direction to a school that is as good as their word!

New coach at APSU yesterday pulled an offer for a scholarship offer for a punter from Christian Co that the coaches and AD promised the player that they would honor so he would not go elsewhere. This is all over twitter. New coach has upset many in Western Ky with this decision and will probably not have any luck in this area with anymore players. Sad decision by this new coach. Guess when you win one game in three years you can get by doing this to kids!

It is like every profession I guess as you have good ones and bad ones and no really good way to get rip of the ones that cannot do the job anymore as there is such a shortage of officials since they went to a three man system that they will use anyone that will pay their dues. Some do need to slow down and not try to work every night as it shows in their work. I saw some over the break working 4 games in a day at 60 plus years old??????

How has it sunk so low? Got 60 year old guys out there that cannot get up and down the floor calling games. they do have about 4 that are very good but the rest need their rest!

4th Region is very questionable this year as they have about 4 great guys and the rest are average to below average, several older ones need to quit as the have a hard time getting up and down the floor and think they are still good but the game has passed them by. But if no new ones get in you are stuck with who signs up each year and will work any game assigned?
