  1. Yawn. Pretty boring game so far. Snapp has 7 and not getting me good looks. Most entertaining part of the game has been watching Newport's coach.
  2. I didn't say anyone was disrespecting the Colonels on here. I was commenting on more than a few opinions that weren't overly impressed.
  3. Sorry guys, still trying to get the hang of this from my phone. I love hearing that people don't respect the Colonels. Pretty much was the same way last year and we all know what happened. Keep disrespecting as they continue to roll good team after good team. I don't put to much stock in rankings at any level. Just someone's opinion and really don't mean anything. Keep playing hard and listening to the best coach in the state.
  4. Best way to put it: this result is more likely to lead me to believe that PRP was never a top 10 team than it is going to justify Covington Catholic being a top 10 team.
  5. I thought it was funny they brought up the Private vs. Public debate especially since the Cumberland cousins are from Hillsboro. For future reference to all aspiring announcers, do a little work and atleast know who the top players are from each team. Not saying Flood and Theobald aren't the best players, but just because you have a good night scoring doesn't make you the best player. That's maybe why the Colonels are dangerous because any given night it could be one of 4 or 5 guys.
  6. Clyde, I was going to try and find you and introduce myself. Probably saw me and my little one on the opposite side of the Colonels bench, in the front row. We were the only ones in Blue and my little guy was a bit animated by the win. Heard a couple of people making comments that we should make our way to the other side.
  7. Finally back home after a terrific basketball game. As I stated before, having family in Wilmington, I hear about this team non stop. I was kidding about the 30 pt game. Before actually seeing Wilmington, I was thinking it would be a 10-15 point win for the Hurricane. That being said, where do you start. I agree that Scott and his staff, might be the best around the area. I was disappointed in the crowd tonight. I have been to a few games at Wilmington and that place was quiet. I think the game was won after the 1st quarter. Wilmington had never been down all season. #21 for The Colonels is a flat out stud. He was doing everything he could to get in younger Cumberland's head. I thought the deciding play was late in 4th, Cumberland(jr) made a contested lay up and had a me moment. All this while the Colonels pushed the ball for an easy basketball.

  9. I understand. I was hoping the in-laws would get the full effect. Just hoping it's not a 30pt game.
  10. I think Wilmington is the best team they have played in a few years. Looking forward to being there. Crazies be in attendance?
  11. Excellent post. There has been more talent and talented teams in the past. Not many but it's true. No offense to Coach T and Coach Listerman, both great people and great coaches.
  12. I have to agree. Wilmington might be the best team in Ohio. Do the Colonels have a chance?
