Apollo definitely had a chance at the end, but a mishandled pass helped Hoptown run out the clock. It has been said before and will be continued to be spoken, Hoptown needs to find a way to score that doesn't always involved Matlock.

Bolden hit a couple of threes down the stretch that finally broke the game open for Holmes. Muhlenberg was up 23-20 at halftime.

Having seen Hoptown play a few times so far this season, they struggle on offense when Matlock gets double-teamed. Double-teaming Matlock almost always leads to their young guards making poor decision. For them to be successful on offense, they need to figure out a way to get points without always having to go through Matlock.

I've watched them a couple times so far this season, each time was a similar outcome.The game would be close for a quarter or even until half time. Then right before half or at the start of the third quarter, the other team went on like a 22-2 run and broke the game wide open.

This makes the 2nd region much more interesting now
