Highlands#1

22 pages and still nothing resolved hmmmmmmm. What does that tell you? Is this a thread to put children, coaches, ex coaches and staff down or a thread to try and find a solution to make the birds better? These childish post aren't doing the birds a bit of good to be honest. We all think we know what needs to be done but in reality we know nothing unless we are in the locker room with the boy's and coaches. Why not end this now and be the better person/ adult. Walk away I challenge everyone of you to just walk away.

So had a chance to watch some film last night with other father's and I have to say some of it is comical. There's really no rhyme or reason why we are 1-6. I read the Ft.Thomas matters article and in that they are using every excuse they can on why the team is losing. So we decided a couple of us would get together and watch some film. The first thing that sticks out is you bring players in and have them make a play or 2 then remove them, Second playing boy's like this does nothing hence the reason why we could be losing? Several player's stuck out while watching the films and they are 33,54,55,41,74,52,12,59,35,5,10,44,8,24,27,and 98 which is a beast. and I wonder why some are playing JV when they are obviously great players. We do not need these boy's on JV however they could be a huge asset on Varsity if used from what we have seen so why are they not being used at all or little at best? That would be the question I would be asking anyone who is in the know with this Varsity program?

That would not explain anything because Meyers and Cornette have been playing JV more than Varsity. Now losing Murray is a huge loss. I had the pleasure of watching both boy's a couple weeks back and I and others have questioned why these boy's are even playing JV. Make all the excuses you want but when you have talented boy's and do not use them you find yourselves in 1-6.

Not talking down on any of them. However I am stating the obvious. I would never put a name on any child on the team because 1 it s wrong and 2 they all have strong points.

I have simply said talking down on children is wrong at so many levels. Yes the qb is having trouble, Yes the D line is having trouble, Yes the o line is having trouble but does that mean we get on a chat room and talk down on these boy's? I find this very sad for the boy's. I do however find it funny to see so many adults acting like children over a team who will be just fine. end of story

I gave you the real details "we lost". Now deal with it and move on. Maybe this next week they can keep replacing seniors with not juniors but sophomores you think?

You have not seen me say that in sometime now because mine no longer plays. Doesn't take a rocket scientists to figure out he will sit on the bench until his senior year so then he will be back. But I still follow and can not believe what I have been seeing and reading.

No my friend what makes me sick is he get's on here and says his son this and his son that. He said his son was ONE OF THE BEST DEFENSE PLAYERS on the team but for the last 2 game's he has been sitting out but to kick. Well they have been making changes maybe they feel it is best correct?

Jack is just mad because his son has been sitting on the bench the last couple games. You know maybe you getting on here running your mouth is making that decision you think?

So you would tell all the defensive parent's that your son is one of the best on the defense to their face? I don't see that happening brother sorry. If your son is only being used to kick the ball I would be happy with that and just sit back and watch. Seems to me your not happy with anything yet everyone needs to tell the higher up what you want your son to do? Yeah that is not how it works

No not really. Seems to me if he was the best or even one of the best he would have been out. As for a good kicker that he is.

Jack if he is one of the best defenders why is he standing on the sidelines? We had a couple parent's asking the same question in the stands tonight?

Men playing boys really? I seen a couple of your MEN as you call them playing very dirty and toward the end being thrown like rag dolls. Anyone at the game tonight would have seen sk should have had more penalties than was called. They was a very dirty team.

Talking bad about this boy bye saying his parents was standing on the side lines and he would maybe do better if his father wasn't at the game, that to me is trash talking a child son.

The highlight of the game was in the 3rd and 4th quarter when the bra started on the field and the penalties started flying. 54, 52 , and 33 was throwing them boys around like they was toy's. There should have been more penalties than just that but Sk got away with much more than should have been allowed. The qb throwing interceptions is bad yes but he is a great player give the kid some credit

I don't need to define anything. As I said it is bull and making our team very bitter. If they can't play with the big boy's then why bring them to us? I will not respond to this anymore because opinions are like butt wholes we all have them.

If I new the names I sure would be saying them. They took over our whole first string which is utter bull crap.

Well why should our boy's sit on the bench every time they decide to bring over the varsity? Just doesn't seem right to me

They held on pretty good. But isn't this a game for our boy's who don't get much playing time on Fridays? It is really getting old seeing varsity players coming in and trying to take over.

If they use the same play as this week with #5 just falling to the ground with every play he was in then no we stand no chance at all. Now with that being said they need to play Gosney as qb and we may have a chance. But who is SK qb? Oh let me remind you of that. Yes I remember shear is the qb and let me tell you he is a awesome player. Infact he went to HHS remember but was told he would never play qb for highlands. Oh this game I would say is going to be a slap in the face for that reason alone.

Oh wow me and Jack of all trades are in a lot of ways alike wow scary haha. Listen I have never once talked bad about any child on here and would never. Why? Because they are children. However the picture taken I know exactly who you are talking about and the coaches have addressed that as well my son tells me. But you have to figure this young man carries this team in many ways he thinks and this is his last year so let him take all the picture's he wants. As for the coaches I think what I have seen of them they are awesome. But then again I really can't say I know them to well. The only thing that get's me is you play boy's Friday and then send them over to us Saturday and we all seen them playing Friday night. Why take away from the JV team and who was once a starter on JV has to take a seat on the bench because you want your Varsity to play this week on the JV team how is that right? That has been my one and only complaint period.
