A little early but I could not contain myself. This week Ashland needs to hit the film hard on this game with Ironton blowing Russell out of the water and basically taking them to the woodshed. Key things Ashland needs to improve on this week, is the O line giving Prince time to sit back and to read the play so that he can make plays with his arm rather then his legs. D did a good job against George Washington by limiting the yards from the Run. But my biggest concern is our Kicking game either we need the coaches to agree with scheduling on practices either find a soccer player to be our golden boot. Or hit it hard with kicking practices this week. My prediction with Ashland being at home and the fans to turn out in numbers and Ashland being back in their comfort zone. Ashland 24 Russell 19

LOVE himself even said they had bodies on that return but no one attempted to tackle. But overall the game was a good game and both teams played their hearts out.

You win some and lose some. And sometimes you beat yourself that's what the special teams did. I do not know if it was them realizing who had the ball and started the panic effect. Or if fatigue hit them towards the end. I would probably go with fatigue.

Dominate maybe not but the record of championships in the district and the long history of smash mouth football says different tho my friend.

And also I do not want to take away that George Washington rebounded their game as well. I have feeling that these boys are going to go places in WV play. But again much better game and closer then the Russell and Ironton game.

As a former Ashland player which feels like many moons ago for this great program rich with history. I am sticking still with the idea that Love is still fitting into the swing's of the head coach seat. I mean it wasnt easy for hart either when he took over, Love is going to be OK its just right now they are starting to go into part of the season now were they are going to def be playing some competition that's amped up with everyone knowing the district is still up for grabs.

Yea some of the things that we could have done finally came back and bit us like it would anyone else. We also have to eliminate penalties.

Oh I never said that their were no errors upon what led to the Lost. Yes some coaching calls could have been made to allow Prince develop the plays. But at the sametime George Washington D was just breaking through to Prince almost on every snap. The D held their ground when needed to so the D is ok. Just Love needs to start working on the special teams and QB drills this week.

I dont think I would really attack the coach so quickly. Yes he just took over and yea Ashland is in a small transforming from the Hart days now to a Love era. I think these boys will be ok just now they have to work on the small things to help them get through next week.

The field goal unit was having a tough time blocking the rushers from the kicker tonight. So love just used the two point approach which in the end cost them.

First thing is first I would love to see Prince get more time in the pocket to be able to connect to his WR. As well Special teams needs to be worked on greatly seemed like they were not able to take anyone to the ground during some of the returns. Defense played their hearts out holding a good RB at bay for George Washington. Ashland is going to be ok this year I believe, they are going to have to look at this film and begin to find ways to give Prince time to allow the play to develop for him.
