  1. To be honest you can rank the top 10-12 teams anyway you want and justify it somehow right now. The sample size is still too small.

If I was to rank teams right now my top 10 would be

    1. Paris

    2. MoCo

    3. Campbell

    4. Scott

    5. GRC

    6. Brossart

    7. Mason

    8. Augusta

    9. Bracken

    10. Harrison

    11. Pendleton

    12. Bourbon

    13. St Pat

    14. Calvary

    15. Nicholas

    16. Robertson

    17. Silver Grove

Now I'm sure someone would say I have this one too high or this one too low and that's fine. Sample size needs to be more.

I'd be more than happy to explain why I have a certain team in a certain spot but don't want this post to be excessively long so feel free to ask.

Beating a team head to head doesn't always mean you should be ranked. Look at the CBB rankings. Duke is 2 and UK is 4, and didn't Duke beat UK?

  2. 1. Paris

    2. Campbell County

    3. Montgomery County

    4. Scott

    5. Mason County

    6. George Rodgers Clark

    7. Augusta

    8. Bishop Brossart

    9. Pendleton County

    10. Bracken County

    11. Harrison County

    12. Bourbon County

    13. Saint Patrick

    14. Nicholas County

    15. Robertson County

    16. Calvary Christian

    17. Silver Grove

  3. It's interesting how some Bracken county fans think coach Hinson in 4 to 5 games can have these boys ready to play with mason county. These kids have never played mason close and it won't happen Tuesday night, but by the end of the year things could be looking up for Bracken give the coach time.

They played with Montgomery County the whole game, and that was the first game of the season in Mount Sterling!

  4. I think Bracken County has found their second (Hamilton 21) and third (Jones 12) scoring options tonight. Crawford and Jones had a double-double. They really moved the ball around, but with 22 turnovers. If the Polar Bears play defense and take care of the ball like they did @ MoCo they will win by 10.

Bracken is coming off a good win from an average defense and good shooting team. I agree with Royal Wildcat, it all depends on which team shows up to play.

I'll take Bracken (of course) by 4 in this one. I've always felt that Mason County has a tough time on Bracken's floor.

  5. The best defender in the 10th and quite possibly the state, clutch, leader, and passionate. Tonight's game was just the definition of how he plays ball, everything on the floor every single night. Easily one of the most underrated players in the state.
How many games have you watched outside of Mason County? Let alone the region and state. There are a lot of players who don't get The recognition they deserve.
