    15. Calvary Christian

    16. Robertson County

    17. Silver Grove

These rankings were sent in by 10/17 coaches and then averaged together. We hope for responses as we continue to do this every week.

  2. Plus everyone knows the financial problems that they've been facing so it makes it seem as if they can't afford new ones.

No need to take shots at RC. In case you forgot Mason can't pay their bills either *cough cough* Tim Moore, just another case of Mason feeling superior to Class A schools. I see no problem with them wearing Deming jerseys.

  3. Crawford has the height advantage but Williams has the speed and athleticism advantage. I've been high on Pig's defense ever since he shut down Beetel Bolden last season. I've watched Pig and Austin grow up playing against eachother since the 3rd grade AAU days. I also don't beleieve in the whole "young" spill with Crawford, anyone who knows him knows he's mature beyond his age.

If Williams stays out of foul trouble and is able to guard Austin the majority of the game it will show. But that depends on how the game is officiated. Either way it will be a fun game to attend regardless of which side you're on.

Always bringing up Mason's superiority. This is a Bracken/Montgomery thread! Save it for the Bracken/Mason predictions

  4. I don't think big schools get first game jitters playing at home and playing a team they thought would be easy. I say they probably did get jitters after the first half (28-22) when they realized that the #9 ranked Polar Bears could upset #2 Indians. Yes there were some questionable calls by the refs, for both sides. Defensive and rebounding is much improved from last year. This is going to be a great season!

  5. This team is a complete turn around from last year. Especially rebounding wise, saw in their scrimmage they're fighting for ever loose ball. Glad to see how much Lippert had improved, along with Engnes. If Bracken does win I don't see it being more 4. Don't think any of these players have ever played at MoCo but at least they are seeing this floor before region (hoping they do get that far)

  6. I've seen Brossart's setter play this year and was impressed. She has very good hands and upper body strength. She is quick, gets her feet in position consistently and has a nice jump set when the pass allows. Her size may keep her from playing at the highest level but she certainly has the skills to advance if she so chooses. I'm curious to hear what her options are.

Sets are smooth and look almost effortless, really fun to watch.

  7. Andrew King will be an assistant and I believe former varsity coach Daniel Fisher will coach JV. Fisher was Varsity coach in the late 90s early 2000s

Fun fact. Daniel Fisher was the coach the last time the Polar Bears won the district and the 10th region All A

Extra Fun Fact: Daniel Fisher coached 4 years from 1997-2000 with a record of 54-58. He coached the last Polar Bear All A AND District Champions. Will Definitely great to see him back with Polar Bear, great coach. Also doing a great job as AD.

  8. Are we talking the barn? Or the one the first brick gym? Or the one built in 1955?

For Augusta are we talking Russell Hall or the Den?

For Bracken the one built in 1957, not the old tobacco barn we used in 1925 that gave us our mascot. For Augusta the one built in 1926. Awesome places to watch basketball.
