Must not have stood next to him recently. I'm saying 6'3 pushing 6'4Not the last time I stood next to him. 6'1", 6'2" at best. -
Care to explain? He can ball...put him on a better squad...he's even better. Love his game. #Paris -
By the way Royalwildcat, I am very much a Mason fan except when they play Augusta and Bracken Co. My reference to them as the Evil Empire is totally tongue-in-cheek.
Bracken and Augusta are like Kentucky and Lousville and Mason County is like Duke.
-
How are they not? Especially with the new hand check rule, teams are given the opportunity to shoot any where from 10-40 points a night from the line.Like that is an unearned gift given, not earned and not a vital part of the game. What's up with that anyway? -
Usually 12-16 out of 17 respond. This week was a little lower due to Christmas break.

I saw that Augusta also missed a lot of bunnies! You've got to make those 3 footers if you want to beat Mason Co.All you guys watched the game, right? The only thing that kept Augusta in the game was Free Throw shooting. Mason made 7-7 and Augusta shot 24-28. My math says that is a 17 point difference. Mason never made it into the bonus either half and Augusta trotted to the line often. Big factor in the game. -
Was this game played with a different time? Very low scoring

The game of basketball is changing, teams are becoming less big and physical and moving to smaller and quicker players. Look at the NBA for example, the Warriors shoot 3's like crazy and aren't very physical yet are still beating top teams. Tall strong physical athletes like Dwight Howard aren't relevant anymore. It's just the start of a new generation of basketball players. Young kids are going to watch Steph Curry (their role model) and try to be just like him. Creating a wave of 3 point shooters for the next decade or so.

I've seen two Augusta teams so far, the one that played Pendleton and Mason, and the one that played Bracken and Campbell.

Another good 39th district game. On a neutral court I say Augusta by 3. At the Fieldhouse I say Mason by 5 70-65.
If only we could see Mason at Augusta

Knew this game would be good, started off with a double technical! And physical the whole game! Good signature win

Will there be a broadcast for this game?
Or listen to the Bracken County broadcast at http://www.p4mo.com/bcsc :thumb:

Hopefully these two teams meet again in the All A Finals:thumb:

The two most mixed up teams in the state:ohbrother:

I wouldn't say they passed with "flying colors"

Bracken County needs that one win against one of the upper half region teams. Bracken ranked 10th, Brossart 7th. Came close to Moco, Augusta, Mason but just didn't have enough. Ill take Bracken by a score of 71-66. The Igloo is tough place to get a win if you come in unprepared.
-
A LOT to talk about in the region! Legit 10 teams who can compete for the chance to go to Rupp! Everyone is saying that at the end only a few teams will separate themselves from the rest, but i don't think it's gonna happen!
-
If you thought that was a clean played game by the Royals then you sir need glasses. Sloppy turnovers kept them from extending their lead to double digits several times.
Mason County shot extremely well, and got multiple second opportunities from offensive rebounds. I would say Bracken played OK and Mason played good. Nobody really played great. If Bracken County would've somehow shot 90% from the line, the beat Montgomery, Augusta, and Mason.

It's a big game don't get me wrong, like the Augusta game. All it's for right now is bragging rights til Feb. The district doesn't seed, and it's not for a championship. The sun will still come up tomorrowIt's pretty humorous how before Mason beat Scott all of the Bracken Co faithful was on here saying how big of a game this would be. But now all of a sudden you're saying it means nothing? :idunno: -
My point is that Mason County fans think they are going to walk in to Brooksville tonight and win by an easy 10-15 points, heck I've even seen someone say 25+. Bracken County is a tough place to win, especially for Mason County against Hinson. If Bracken loses so what? It would be great to win so we can knock Mason of their high horse for once. But Mason beat Augusta by 17 in the regular season and we all saw how the finals turned out. And last year Bracken beat Augusta by 18, and then Augusta turned around and beat Bracken by 7, without Snapp. So I guess we'll see how this one turns out,

Umm UK is 4 and Duke is 7 and Kentucky beat Duke head to head? Lol
Let me use a good example (that I made sure was true) UCLA beat UK, yet UK is 4 and UCLA is 22
